"And if you need a light
I'll be the match to your candle

I was just coasting till we met
You remind me just how good it can get

My darling, I'm ready, to burst into flames for you
Well I've been on fire, dreaming of you
Tell me you don't
It feels like you do"

"But what if there's a thunder storm or a tornado as we're flying and we get sucked in? Or what if the pilot falls asleep in mid-air?"

"But what if there's a thunder storm or a tornado as we're flying and we get sucked in? Or what if the pilot falls asleep in mid-air?"

"Carrot Cake, none of that will happen, plus they would cancel the flight if there's going to be bad weather," Harry chuckles seemingly overly amused about my fear of flying. He holds my shaking hand in his as we make our way to our gate.

"You never know though!" I exclaim, gripping the strap of my carry on bag on my shoulder. I've never flown before and I knew I probably should have said something to Harry before I agreed to flying to New York with him for Christmas.

The feeling of being thousands of feet in the air with nothing but clouds and empty air underneath us doesn't seem right. I mean how the hell does flying even work?

I'm also feeling overly anxious about seeing Harry's stepdad now that we're for sure he's the one behind the shooter coming after us. He obviously knows I'm the real reason behind Drew dying, which puts a rock in my stomach.

I never meant for it to happen. If I would have known Drew's true intentions I would've never gone to the party and I certainly wouldn't have followed him up to his room. How was I supposed to know that his intentions were impure and I would have to fight to get away from him? I never meant to put him in a coma, but he was going to hurt me if I didn't do anything.

Harry's stepdad sure did a good job at raising a disgusting prick like Drew. A part of me believes Mark hates Harry so much because he's nothing like him. Harry may believe that he's a horrible creature because of Mark, but I know Harry and his heart. This past month Harry's really shown me his entire soul and has let me in more than before.

Harry's a very sensitive person no matter how hard he tries to make himself come off as intimidating. He wears his heart on his sleeve and while he tends to guard his emotions, he's doing it as a defensive mechanism so he won't get hurt.

I mean the boy basically bought me a new wardrobe for this trip. I never asked for him to do such a thing but he insisted, saying I 'only deserve the best.'

"Okay Sunbeam, we've got about thirty minutes until we board. Do you want coffee? Bagel?" He asks while slipping my heavy book bag off my shoulder. I rub my shoulder as soon as the weight comes off, not knowing why I decided to cram everything into just one bag.

"A coffee would be great," I sigh while looking at our plane out the large window of the airport. The sky is dark today, clouds take up most of the space in the sky and it looks like it could storm any second.
