Harry

"Take her somewhere else, she can't just stay here!" I pull at my hair as I pace around anxiously.

It's been a few minutes since Nova passed out on the club floor, leaving me to abruptly end the meeting between the boys and I. All four of us shuffled her into our arms, Liam and Zayn grabbing each leg as Niall held her torso. I made sure to prop her head up so it wouldn't fall backwards as we carried her upstairs and into the elevator. Louis insisted he just watch, pushing her dangling arm every now and again and earning a disapproving look from me.

Now she lays on the sofa, her blonde curls haloing around her head. Even as she lays there with her lips parted and eyes closed peacefully, she looks like an angel. I can't let her stay here though. I was fine while carrying her up, but now that she lays here on my couch, I feel uneasy with the idea. My demonic thoughts are beginning to occupy my mind.

"No Harry! Please! Stop!"

I shut my eyes and rub my temples, trying to erase the dark memories, but my brain won't give up.

"Harry, you're hurting me!"

"Jesus fucking Christ stop!" I scream out loud, pulling my hair as I crouch down in the corner of the room, my eyes shut and my body tense.

"Harry, mate, It's okay," Liam puts a hand on my shoulder, trying to break me out of my unforgiving conceptions.

I jerk away from his touch, gripping my hair harder. I can feel my knuckles go white as I latch on, clenching my teeth together in pain. The diabolical thoughts continue to push the harsh memories into my cerebrum, letting the poison fill my brain.

"Harry! Get out of your head, mate! This is Liam, open your eyes and focus on what's in front of you. Look around this room and tell me what you see," Liam's soothing voice brings me back to the present, allowing me to slowly open my eyes.

My chest heaves up in down in panic, searching the room for objects, trying to calm down. I start to tap my fingers on the side of my leg one at a time as I bring my eyes to search over the room.

"Tell me what you see," Liam says quietly, bending down next to me.

I bring my glossy eyes to a book that rests on the shelf of the entertainment center. I stare at the spine of the book, reading the title over and over again in my head, trying to drown the demons.

"Tell me."

"I-It's my favorite book," I utter out, trying to catch my shaky breath.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

"J-jay..." I choke out, keeping my eyes only on the book, going over the storyline in my head.

Liam nods and watches me before taking my arm and helping me up to sit on the end of the couch. The others pile around, watching as Liam takes the responsibility of helping me with my distress from reliving the traumatic event.

Tap.

"And who's that?" he asks, making me turn and look at Nova resting on the couch. Her green eyes are still closed while her head lays on a pillow next to my lap.

I stare down at her, the tears in my eyes making it hard to focus on her porcelain skin. I'm almost surprised she didn't wake up from my outburst. I swear if she cracked her head from the fall..
