"Well, if he's going," Remus didn't finish his sentence as he tried to escape but was grabbed by his brother.

"You're not going anywhere, Re." Roman said. "Not until we find Virgil."

"Surely we'd find him easier by splitting up?" Remus said. "There's three floors to this school that he could get into so Specs could take floor level, you could take first and me and Janus could take second. Simple."

Roman's face stayed in the same disappointed, tired expression. Remus rolled his eyes and groaned.

"Besides, I hate..." His eyes flicked to Janus quickly. "90% of this group. And guess what, Ro," Remus managed to pry Roman's hand off his arm, "you're not in the 10%."

Remus tried to run again but Roman grabbed the back of his jacket, yanking him back.

"And you're still not going anywhere." Roman said.

"How do you have faster reactions than me?! I do fucking gym!" Remus protested.

"You're also predictable as fuck." Roman said.

Remus snarled and stamped on Roman's foot with the heel of his boot. Roman let him go with a string of curse words, hopping about and glaring at Remus.

"Predict that, bitch!" Remus yelled, flipping Roman off with both hands before running away, up the stairs.

Janus stared after him. "Holy shit, I might be in love." He thought.

"We should probably get back to the detention hall before Freddie and Daniel find out what the Hell that was." Logan said.

"Dan and Freds're lazy." Janus said, not looking at Logan as he spoke. "They're not gonna care. Anyway, like Rem said, I think we should go searching."

"Why, so you can go make-out with my brother?" Roman asked. Janus rolled his eyes.

"I'm not a slut, Roman." Janus snapped. He smirked a little. "I'd ask him first."

"I'm going to kill you." Roman growled out. He really did look a little murderous. Janus smirked.

"Sure." He said, not believing Roman. "Anyway, I'll take second, like Rem suggested, you can take first and Logan can be... a fence."

"I'm not being a fence!" Logan protested. "I couldn't lie my way out of a mousehole, what makes you think-"

"You're the least criminal of all of us." Janus said.

"You know the most about Freddie and Daniel!" Logan said. "You be the fence."

"I'm the 10% Rem doesn't hate. I can bring him back, neither of you can." Janus said.

Roman sighed. "Whatever, stop arguing." He said.

"Hypocrite." Janus muttered.

"Since it's such a big deal to you two, I'll take ground floor, Janus you can take first," Roman pointed at Janus, "and Logan can take second. Then none of us get what we want, happy?!"

Janus and Logan shared a look. Janus shrugged.

"Works for me." He said.

"Great, perfect, fuck you." Roman said, storming away. Logan and Janus shared another look.

"Anger issues?" Logan asked.

"Most probably." Janus agreed.

"What even happened to him?" Logan asked. Janus shrugged.

"Seriously beats me. With him for nearly a year, never understood him." Janus said, ambling to the staircase.

"Yeah, what happened with that?" Logan asked. "If it's not rude."

"Well, what did you hear?" Janus asked. He didn't sound phased but he was gripping the banister so hard his knuckles were turning white.

"I don't really listen to rumours..." Logan said. Janus scoffed a little.

"Perfect little gentleman, huh?" He asked.

"I try to be." Logan said.

Janus sighed through his nose. "To put it simply, he used me for popularity. Turn the most wimpy boy in school into something respectable and you get some pretty good credit. I found out about a year late and that was when I had my first fist fight. Lost, of course."

"I'm sorry." Logan said and he sounded like he meant it. Janus shrugged.

"What does it matter?" He asked. "I'm better for it now, anyway." He gestured to himself. "Anyway, here's my stop. See you back in detention."

Half hate this chapter. Dunno why.
Bye.
