WARNING: Fight

Janus stumbled back, clutching his nose. It wasn't bleeding and it wasn't broken (thank God) but water was welling up in his eyes. Janus tried to blink it away but it ended up running down his face.

"Aw, crying, Freak?" Freddie taunted. "Pathetic."

"I'll show you who's pathetic." Janus growled in his head. He blinked again, trying to clear his eyes of tears, and tried to throw a punch. Freddie dodged and grabbed his arm, twisting it behind his back.

"Gonna cry more?" Freddie hissed. He grabbed a fistful of Janus' hair and tugged hard, actually pulling some strands out.

Janus bit down on the inside of his lip and kicked out, hoping to make contact with something. He managed to kicked Freddie' kneecap and Freddie grunted in pain, letting go of Janus' hair.

Janus tried to twist his arm out of Freddie's grasp but Freddie yanked him back. He pulled on Janus' hair sharply, rocking his head back with the force of his pull.

Janus kicked back again, trying to hit something. Anything. Freddie twisted his arm again sharply and Janus froze.

"Stop it, stop it, stop it, stop it." He thought desperately but his lips seemed to be locked shut.

Freddie twisted his arm again and Janus clenched his fists. He ripped his arm out of Freddie's grasp and spun around, facing Freddie again.

"I'm going to punch you into oblivion." Janus decided. Still, he couldn't speak. His mouth just wouldn't cooperate. He blinked again. His eyes had finally stopped watering.

"What's your rush, Freak?" Freddie asked. Janus released a heavy breath and swung a punch. Somehow, Freddie was still ready for him. He grabbed Janus' hand and twisted his arm around.

"I could keep going." Freddie said. "I could keep twisting until the bone broke." He twisted Janus' arm around even more as he spoke.

"Go on then." Janus snarled, forcing himself to speak. Freddie blinked, surprised, and hesitated. A shadow crossed Janus' face and he threw a punch with his free hand.

He'd never been able to punch with his left hand. It wasn't strong, it wasn't even a good punch. But it gave him time. And time was really what Janus needed right now.

Freddie's twist on his arm loosened. Janus pulled his arm away but Freddie wasn't down. He ducked out of Janus' line of vision and before Janus could turn around to face him, he felt a blow to the back of his knees.

Janus stumbled forward and fell. Then, there was a knee on his back, pushing him down til he was flat on the ground. His arm were pinned uselessly at his sides, his knuckles scraping the floor painfully. Freddie grabbed another fistful of his hair and yanked his head up.

"Hey." A voice (did Janus recognise that voice? Did it even matter?) said. The sound was scared but the voice didn't waver. "Hey!" They said again.

Freddie was pushed off his back all of a sudden. "Leave him alone!"

Janus tried to get up but Freddie kicked him in the side. Janus fell again, wincing but refusing to say anything about his pain.

"Or what?" Freddie asked. There was a small, surprised yelp.

"I might not be able to pull arms out of their sockets like the nerd can," Roman?, "but I can fracture you pretty damn well. So don't test it."

Janus managed to sit up, shaking his hair out of his eyes. Already, he could feel new bruises blooming on his arms.

Freddie shook his arm out of Roman's hand. He looked at Janus, sitting on the floor like a pathetic toddler, and shrugged.

"Been wanting to kick his sorry ass all day." Freddie said to Roman. He shrugged and shoved his hands in his pockets. "It was surprisingly easy. Not as tough as he makes out to be." He mock-lunged at Roman and Roman jumped back. Freddie laughed. "Neither are you, it seems."

THINGS WILL BE FIXED, I PROMISE!

Blaize
