The rest of the day passed as Zuko sailed the raft to the shore of Agni knew where. We were on sea for nearly a week with no food and water, and I was surprised to see that we survived.

"If it weren't for me, you guys would've failed to see the land!" Zuko shouted at us while sailing.

"Actually, we would have... a moment later. We are not blind, Zuko." I retorted sharply.

Zuko was in one of his moods again. He was angry and frustrated for not capturing the Avatar and took it all out on us.

"I mean, what were you two even talking about that made you lose focus on the surroundings?" Zuko bit back, and that question had the power to shut my mouth.

I didn't want to tell him about the whole 'Heir of the Sun' thing, not yet. He wouldn't understand now. Definitely not when his mind was occupied by his stupid ego. Zuko opened his mouth to speak again, but I held a hand to stop him.

"Alright, I should've seen it. My bad, and I'm sorry. You happy now?" I cut him off in an annoyed tone, and his response was a frustrated huff.

Uncle mouthed "deep breath" to me with an assuring smile, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. A strange feeling crept on as uncle's words echoed in my mind.

About Lu Ten...

Lu Ten was an Heir... like me! Uncle said he died before he came to know about it. I couldn't ask anything about it further since Zuko was awake. And I didn't have the guts to bring it up again because it was heart-wrenching to see uncle's features fall like that.

After Lu Ten died during the war, uncle dropped the 'Seige of Ba Sing Se' and set off to travel around the world. He didn't come back to the Fire Nation for over two years. I couldn't imagine how he would've felt when he came to know his son was chosen by the Sun Spirit itself but couldn't feel happy or proud about it.

"You're gonna come or what?"

Zuko's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, and I saw him standing on the shore, his hand extended towards me. His scowl hardened as I roughly grabbed his hand and jumped to the shore.

"Don't scowl too much, yeah? I forgot what your face actually looks like." I mocked, earning another annoyed huff as he stomped past me.

Though the lack of food for almost a week and exhaustion made it hard even to move, I relished the feeling of being on land after a long time. Well, I didn't take the Northern Water Tribe into consideration since it was just built on ice.

I barely managed to catch up with Uncle and Zuko, wondering how they were able to walk faster when uncle shouted. "There!"

Our heads turned to where uncle's finger pointed, and saw a couple of huts a few miles from us. "It's a hut! So what?!" Zuko barked.

"Which means we can probably get some food there! And hopefully, a good place to rest." Uncle stated, excitement lacing his voice.

The word food earned a low grumble from my stomach, and all I could think of was a decent meal and a comfortable bed. Prepared for an objection from Zuko, I almost opened my mouth to retort when he mumbled.

"Alright... Let's make it quick."

Uncle and I were utterly surprised at his statement but quickly made our way to the hut before Zuko could change his mind. Hunger really did things to him...

The hut we went to turned out to be a guest house. Ah... How convenient... Thank Agni! Unlike Zuko and I, uncle came prepared. He had a bag of gold pieces and rented a separate hut for us to stay.
