Not With You

I woke up kinda late in the afternoon being pretty well rested for staying up so late.

I went down to the bar to get some food. As I was getting some cereal I heard some footsteps approaching.

"Look who finally got up." Dabi said as he walked up to me.

I didn't respond as I was still preparing my cereal. But as I turned to look at Dabi, he was in a suit and his hair was fixed.

"How come your all dressed up?" I asked as I thought Dabi looked really good.

"I have to go talk to Mr. Campbells son now, because you sent his father to the hospital for kicking his dick." Dabi said still being a bit upset for it.

"Yep and I have no regrets!" I said proudly.

"You are such a bitch, you know that." Dabi said as he found me being proud funny.

"That's why you love me so much." I said cockily.

"Yeah, yeah"

"Here let me go get dressed." I said as I stood up.

"You're not coming." Dabi said plainly.

"What? Why?" I asked genuinely being confused.

"We'll because of the incident with Mr. Campbell they asked me not to bring anyone." Dabi said as turned my direction.

"But shouldn't I go, because I was the one there first so I gotta finish it. Also isn't this my whole job now." I asked still being confused.

"They specifically asked for no one extra to go. So I just agreed to go. And you have another meeting with someone tomorrow. Just see this as a day off." Dabi said as he started to walk towards the door.

"But.. I wanna go. I'm gonna be bored!" I said as I watched him open the door.

I technically wouldn't mind a day off but I wanna see how everything works cause technically Dabi still hasn't really explained everything. And I wanna see how everything goes down with the stupid Campbell family.

"Go hang out with Beatrix. She loves you so you'll be fine." Dabi said as he finally left.

"But I dont wanna talk about sex all day." I whined.

But he's right, Beatrix seems fun to hang out with so why not. I wanna talk to another girl besides Toga anyways.

I didn't change out of the clothes I slept in, which was just an oversized band t-shirt and went straight to Beatrixs room.

I didn't knock before coming in and walked straight in to see Beatrix changing into a different lingerie set.

"Oh shit. I'm so sorry. I completely forgot this is your job." I said as I turned around.

"Oh hey girl. No you're all good. So what brings you here this afternoon?" Beatrix asked.

"We'll you see Dabi wouldn't let me go to work and now I'm stuck here." I said honestly.

"Oh that son of a bitch. Girl never and I mean never let a man treat you like shit. Especially not Dabi. I don't know how the hell he pulled you or how your even working together." Beatrix said in disbelief.

"Pretty much he kidnapped me and now I work for him and I get to go talk to rich men and makes drug deals. I don't fully understand it yet but I'll get the hang of it." I said truthfully.

"Oh-. Sounds like him." Beatrix said with a small laugh.

"How come you work here?" I asked genuinely wanting to know.

"We'll unlike you, I wasn't kidnapped. I used to work for myself and go around to do my job. But now I stay here and work for any guest and anyone apart of the league. It's so much better than what I had to do before, cause now I have my own little office." Beatrix said as she looked around her room.

"Oh okay."

"I'm surprised you haven't tried to escape yet. I'm sure you have a life of your own wondering where you are."

" I lived with my grandmother, but I wasn't sure what I was gonna do with my life. I thought about going to college but my grandmother wanted me to work in a hero department. I've always loved my grandmother and I wanted to have her approval but now that I'm away I feel no pressure and I feel free." I said as I never thought about it that deeply before.

"Deep. Nice."

"So I'm guessing you're gonna be here for a while. You have no idea how nice that is, cause Toga can be hard to be around." Beatrix laughed.

"I agree." I said as I laughed with her.

"So tell me, why wouldn't Dabi let you go to work? I'd love to hear his bullshit excuse." Beatrix said wanting to hear all the tea.

"Long story short, I kicked a rich dude in the balls cause he grabbed my ass and then now Dabi has to finish the deal with his son."

"No way! Girl I love you. You are a badass." Beatrix said excitedly.

"Yeah. I actually wanted to go but Dabi will get mad at me. But then I'll get to see what happens. And I have a few things I would like to say to the son." I said still being pissed off about what happened.

"Then go."

"But Dabi just left and I'm sure that by the time I get there it will be over."

"Well lucky for you I'm an amazing driver so go get ready and we are gonna make it!" Beatrix said excitedly.

"Really?"

"Yeah! Now go!" Beatrix said as she pushed me towards to door.
