Chapter twenty-nine : Midnight mistakes.

"Kyle,Kyle where are you. Please..." I trailed off before dropping on the grass. The feeling I was experiencing was far worse than anything before. It felt as if my heart was ready to burst out of my chest. It became harder for me to breath. I tried to cry, scream for Kyle, and breath at the same time. My chest tightened. I held my stomach as I curled up in a corner behind the building. As I looked up through my blurred vision I could see the stars shinning bright. Feeling the bass of the music vibrating through my body on the floor. As I was laying on the floor I could feel the wind pass over my body. My mind was there but my body stood still as if lifeless.....

*thirteen hours earlier*

I was busy printing some papers with Jason in the principle office. We have been doing that all morning. No one was really in class. We all were scattered through the school decorating for our Fright night dance. We have one every halloween. The games and tent things were set up outside already. Veronica and Justine the girls who always organize our events are out there decorating the tents and yard outside the school, Jason and I were setting up the gym for the food,music,lighting,and decorations. Kyle,Natalie, and Jennifer are working on the hallways. As I walked out the office I bumped into someone. When I looked up from the papers,I saw Hannah. Before I could realize it I was jumping and screaming.

"I missed you!" I said wrapping my arms around her. Her hair no longer brown. She dyed it black. She pulled away and looked at me with a smile. Her hazel eyes filled with tears. She was about to say something but started crying harder. Instead she pulled me back into a hug. We stood like that for a while. I have not seen Hannah since God knows when.

"Why are we so emotional," said Jason walking into the hallway. "Well isn't it the famous Hannah"

"Shut up and hug me," she said walking to him.

"Hey, I'm going to help set up downstairs cause we are finish up here," he said to me.

"I'll be down in a little while to help"

As Jason was out of sight, Hannah and I walked back into the office and closed the door. I took a seat around the table on the other side of the room. Hannah followed.

"How was New York?"

"It was amazing and busy. My mom and I got closer and had bonding time. I could not stop shopping. I even met some family members," she said.

"Cute boys?"

" plenty of them," she replied wiggling her eyebrows.

We talked for a good twenty minutes. I looked down at my watch and stood up. "We should get out of here it's almost time to go home and get ready for tonight's fright night dance," I told Hannah.

" I'm going to go find Zayn or Jennifer . I will call you when I'm coming over to get ready," she said.

"Did you get your costume yet?"

" Nope that's why I'm going to look for Jennifer she has some costumes with her for me to choose," I hugged her and she was off.

I pulled my blonde hair into a pony tail and headed down the back stair case. I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I have always avoided this stair case since being attacked. I tried my best to make it down a quickly as I could. As I pushed the door open to exit the stair case I bumped into someone.
