I sat and waited for a response, but I knew she was asleep.

"I love you." I said, rubbing her head one more time,"Sleep well."

I doze off for about an hour before my phone started to ring.

"What the-" I mumbled, waking up remembering Araceli was still in my lap.

I picked up the phone and waited for the other voice to talk.

I couldn't hear anything so I put it on speaker.

"Where's my sister?"

"Who the fuck is this?" I said.

"Where's my sister you bastard?"

"Ima need you to chill out. Who the hell are you?"

"You know exactly who I am."

My heart dropped, and I finally realized who it was.

"I'm not gonna ask again, where is she?"

"Go kill yourself, I don't care. She's safe with me, not your psychotic ass."

"I'm gonna kill you." He said.

"Try it bitch." I said, hanging up the phone.

I took a deep breath," That son of a bastard how is he still.. damn it."

I looked down at the now awake girl.

Her eyes wide open, with a small tear in the corner, her mouth open and ready to yell.

"Why did you...was that my brother.." She said," Why are you..?"

"I don't know how to explain this.."

"It was you..? Wasn't it!"

"Araceli, let me explain."

"It all makes sense now." She said.

"Araceli I didn't mean for this to happen I didn't kno-"

"You were the one he fought in the alley that day! You tried to fucking kill my brother!" She said, lifting herself off of me.

"Araceli wait, stop it. Let me explain."

I grabbed her hand and tried to pull her back to me.

"Get the fuck off of me!" She said, ripping her hand out of my grip," You fucking Jerk."

"Araceli please it wasn't like that, listen to me please."

"WHAT DANIEL?" She screamed," YOU GONNA SAY ITS THE DAMN GIRL AGAIN LIKE YOU DID LAST TIME?"

"LISTEN TO ME."

"NO! IM DONE LISTENING TO YOU." She said,"I'm going home."

She gathered her stuff and grabbed her phone.

"Please let me explain.." I said," I'm begging.. please don't walk away.."

"I hate you."

She slammed the door behind her and left me on my knees.

"Don't leave me too.. god why.." I said sobbing,"Every person I love, why me."
