I slowly closed my door, checking for my car alarm. It was blaring loudly, loud enough to wake my whole building.

Quickly realizing that, I turned it off.

I knew Araceli was far enough at this point so I wasn't gonna stress too much.

Don't be irrational, think this shit through. Most likely it's four against one, so i've gotta play this smart.

I knew our building layout like the back of my hand.

I was on the bottom floor and there was two sets of stairs, one set where Araceli just ran past and the ones that are right in front of my house.

There's way too many people that stay in these houses, i'm not gonna put other people's lives in danger.

Fuck.

I clicked my safety off and thought for a moment.

TYRELL..

I pulled out my phone and dialed him up, calling him as fast as possible.

"Yo." He said sounding tired as all hell.

"I need backup." I whispered.

"I'll be there in five."

He hung up and that's when I started planning out my decisions.

"Meet me on the back stairwell, four guys in front of my house, park in the back." I texted to him.

"Gotcha."

I carefully crept to the stairs and climbed up each one as quietly as possible.

Upon each step I heard voices get louder and louder, making my heart race.

I crept around to the side, hoping to get a glance of who i'm up against.

I turned my car alarm and startled them.

I saw four individuals, two tall two small.

I laid flat on the ground and clicked my car alarm off.

Fuck where's my phone?
