"A-Araceli...?" ________________________________
Can you look at me, and tell me if i'm drowning?
Can you see my face turn from pale, to red, to blue.. to nothingness?
What do I do when i'm drowning?
When my legs stop working.
When my arms stop moving.
When my lungs stop breathing.
When my head starts spinning...
What happens?
Can you tell me what happens, when my nose begins to fill with water?
And my weight sinks me to the bottom of the pool.
What do I do.. when my world goes black?
Is this it for me?
Am I ever coming back?

"ARACELI." I screamed, swimming towards her.
My nose burning as I swam to her. The weight of the world fell on my shoulders as I began to worry more and more.
"ARACELI." I shouted, shaking her arm.
"Hey woah!" She said, slipping under the water.
"What the fuck?"
She swam back up to the surface and popped her head out of the water," What's the problem? I was just floating." She said, kinda pissed.
"I- well, you didn't respond.. and I thought you were dead."
"How the hell would I die in a pool Daniel?"
A lot of ways actually, and if you keep having an attitude i'll drown you myself to show you.
Kidding.
Maybe.
"I was just worried." I said," You didn't respond the multiple times I called you, and if you haven't noticed. Death is kinda a serious thing with me."
"Sorry." She said," I should've been paying more attention."
Fuck now I feel bad.
"I'm sorry. I forgot we haven't really done anything in awhile. This might've been relaxing for you and my paranoia fucked it up." I said, pulling her towards my chest.
"Don't worry about it, glad I can count on you if I end up drowning." She said smiling.
"You sure?"
"Yea. It's fine... But next time, don't grab my arm so damn hard."
"I promise I won't." I said chuckling," I promise."

yes i know, this is really short, forgive me in advance.
But like, have y'all ever lost motivation for something?
Like not for this book in particular it like in general.
I don't know, it's just been hard writing chapters lately, but i'll figure it out.
