I woke up, in a cold sweat.

Anxiety filled me immediately and I was met with an instant uneasiness.

I looked down to find my arms open, she wasn't there.

"Araceli!" I shouted.

But there was no response.

Damn it, it was real I lost her for good..

As tears fell down my face, the bathroom door opened, and the light turning off as a figure walked out.

"Hey.. i'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." She said.

"ARACELI." I yelled, dashing to her.

"Hey woah, I just had to use the bathroom. You okay?"

I hugged her waist tightly and began to get myself together," I'm okay, I just thought you left.. or got hurt, fell. You know.. sorry I was just worried.."

I heard her chuckle," I'm okay.. I'm more concerned about you freaking out on me like this more than anything though."

"What me? Never." I said, hiding my tear stained face.

"You sure?"

"I promise. Let's go back to sleep." I said.

"Alright then." She said laughing.

I lifted myself off the floor and walked her towards the bedroom.

She jumped in the bed and laid down.

I stared in the doorway at her.

The way she tossed and turned in the bed.

"You gonna join me.. or no." She said.

"Sorry, I was just thinking, forgive me."

"I'll always forgive you, no matter what it is. Now come on."

Those words made my heart sink..

If he IS really alive.. will she forgive me for what i've done then?

I walked to the other side and laid down besides her.

"Goodnight." She said. Moving closer towards me.

"Goodnight." I said.

I wrapped my arm around her and brought her close to my chest, hugging her tightly.

"You're squeezing me really tight." She said.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"It's alright, i'm okay." She said, yawning.

"Promise."

"I promise.. Now go to sleep." She said.

"Alright.. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, I love you."

My heart skipped a beat.

"What?" I said.

I heard light snoring.

"Hey, what'd you just say?" I said," Wake up!"

She wouldn't budge.

"Wakeeee uppppp." I said shaking her.

But then it hit me.

Did she just say I love you..?

To me?

The hoe.

The unlovable?

Me...?

"Did you really mean that..?" I whispered.

I sat in silence waiting for a second.

"Araceli."

No response.

"I love you too.." I said, holding her closer.

I'll be better for you.
