YURI

Yuri watched both Jay and the stranger argue.

She was actually thankful Jay noticed how uncomfortable she was starting to get because of the guy who kept trying to reach for her hand in the reins. If he did successfully touch her hand, she would've run over him with her horse.

Jay was controlling his expression as he continued staring at the stranger. "Fine." The guy gives up, possibly afraid of losing his job. Once he was away, Yuri let out a sigh of relief. "Are you okay? What did he do to you?" He asked, worried.

"He kept trying to reach my hand. That's why I kept moving it whenever I could." She replied. "Thank goodness you noticed though. I would've ran over him with my horse if he did not stop." Instead of laughing, his expression remained serious. Yuri frowned at how serious he was, was he really that worried? "You have to stop worrying too much for me. Do you really think if he did something to me I wouldn't have the strength to defend myself?"

"I know you can handle it believe me but I can't help but be bothered about that guy who made you uncomfortable. I'll send a complaint." Jay said which surprised her.

She made her horse block Jay's path. "Are you sure? Wouldn't that just be too bothersome?" She asked him, worried that she was ruining his special day because of what happened to her.

He looked at her in a confused way but later on lets out a sigh. " Of course it isn't." He tells her. "I'll send a complaint whether you like it or not, it was wrong of him to make you uncomfortable."

Of course she wanted to send a complaint herself but she really didn't want to ruin this day for him. By the time they were finished horseback riding, they were all led to a table with enough seats for all of them. Jay's mood was a lot better because his friends were now around. At the beginning of the trip, she was very shy around them but now she felt less shy because of how nice they were to her.

Aside from Jay, Jake also made sure that she didn't feel out of place. He would talk to her whenever he could, even helping her start a conversation with the others. She sat next to Jay who barely spoke to her after the incident earlier. Even though they barely talk, she noticed how he still never left her side. She wanted to talk to him once the day is over, now was not the time to speak about what she wanted to tell him.

"So Yuri, you're studying law right?" Heeseung asked to which she answered with a nod. "That's an admirable choice, being a lawyer can be a bit hard."

Yuri smiled. "I have my reasons." She replied.

"By the way Yuri are you seeing anyone now?" Jungwon boldly asks while he takes as sip from his drink. Before she could answer, Jay suddenly started coughing.

"Are you okay there?" Yuri asked him first before answering Jungwon's question. Jay makes a thumbs up while continuously coughing. His friends covered their mouths to hide their chuckles. "Okay then. To answer your question, no I'm not seeing anyone."

Jungwon's mischievous smile grew even more but Yuri mistook it as his ordinary smile. "Then what do you think-"

"Oh look the food is here!" Jay's voice suddenly turned squeaky which confused Yuri even more than she already was.

Everyone was now eating the meals they ordered but for some reason that did not stop their chattering. Even the most simplest topic they found their way of prolonging it. And the day passed like a blur, the sun was starting to set and it was time for everyone to leave. Jay excused himself and said he needed to deal with some things which is why he left Yuri with his friends.
