After the introductions, they settle into amicably chatting about what they've all been up to. Courtney isn't at all surprised when Jackie speaks up, the other three having chatted about their own happenings as Courtney simply listened and prompted, to ask her, too.

"Hey, I heard your husband said some things on a podcast the other week?" she teases, grinning, Courtney giving a sigh and looking pointedly at the camera, for the benefit of the video version.

"Okay, so that podcast will be out before this one but it isn't at the time of recording so all anyone has heard is about it, I have heard it – for reasons that will be obvious to anyone that has heard that podcast – but the rest of these guys have not," she points out, before glancing back to her normal angle and shrugging, "and I mean, yeah, he was sappy and cute and I don't think that's new, also, super proud of him for talking about the sexuality stuff-"

"Sexuality stuff?" Kimmy prompts, confused, and Courtney quickly realises it hasn't got to everyone, panic quickly swirling in her mind.

"Oh, I thought it'd got to everyone in the office, you must've been off or not around when we've mentioned it," she brushes it off, quickly stepping past the fact that Shayne hadn't exactly been talking to Kimmy a whole lot if he didn't need to, before continuing, "anyway, yeah, proud of him, and of course both of us are still not doing so great at hiding the romantic shit, we got married like- recently enough, most of you were at the wedding..."

"Except Saige," Jackie points out, laughing.

"Mm, but given I didn't know either of you then, it would've been really weird if I was there!" Saige jumps in, joking, before she continues, "I have seen photos, though, it looked so pretty. And you looked awesome, Courtney, that dress was amazing."

"I was high key feeling myself, I was so happy with how it turned out," Courtney admits, laughing lightly at herself, "thank you."

"So I'm totally feeling like I'm at that point in my life where all my friends are getting married and having babies and I'm over here just being single and chilling," Jackie muses, "non-Smosh friends, too, and only non-Smosh friends for the having babies thing... but you and Shayne got married, and Olivia and Sam are engaged too! Plus a couple of other friends had weddings earlier in Spring, and I've got another one in late August..."

"Oh I'm absolutely seeing the same thing happen, the group I stream with a lot of the time- like, all of them are getting married," Saige emphasises, "all these damn adults around me, like c'mon, what's going on? Since when is that a thing?"

"I mean, I was saying exactly the same thing up until a year and a half ago," Courtney admits, "also, very married, very happy, definitely not feeling any more like an adult. Although we did also buy a house. God, am I secretly a real adult?"

"I'm sorry to say, Courtney, I think you can be diagnosed as a real adult," Saige answers, tone heavy with drama and concern before she breaks into laughter alongside the others, "nah, I think everyone is just faking adulthood. Guess you just find the right person to do the marriage stuff with."

"Guess I did," Courtney shrugs, nonchalantly, "gotta say, it is nice to have been able to put the idea of dating behind me forever. I mean, honestly, did that a while before Shayne and I even got together because it sucked and it was exhausting and it was just easier to hang out with my best friend-turned-boyfriend-turned-fiance-turned-husband..."

"Oh, god, it sucks so much," Jackie sighs, backing her up, "I can't even be bothered to try at the moment. It's like- the apps suck, but how the hell do you meet new people as an adult in LA?"

"Oh, it's really bad," Saige agrees, before adding, "although I manage to meet people all the time, it's just they always turn out to be super weird and I have so many dating horror stories I wonder why I ever actually keep trying... One time this guy tried to give me his number when he was giving me his insurance details when he ran into the back of my car in a car park while I was buying groceries. Just, no! Not the time!"
