Clary's blood turned cold. Slowly, she clutched her stomach with her hand, looked down, then back up at Sebastian. A despicable grin was plastered onto his pale face.
"H-How?" She said, in almost a whisper. "Did we-"
Sebastian hushed her and she released her hand from her stomach sending her fist flying and smashing into the desk. It made a large, loud and satisfying sound as it came down against the wood. Sebastian did not even flinch. He held himself, poised and sturdy; unmoving. He had a strange look on his face. A look of secrets. As if he knew something she didn't.This made her flustered.
"How, How dare you!" Clary screeched.
Sebastian raised a sly eyebrow.
"Are you not happy, my Queen?"
"Happy?" She spat. "I'm pregnant with a monster."
"A monster?" Sebastian replied, slowly and dryly.
With one swift movement, he jumped up, lunged himself across the table and shoved Clary violently into the wall.
She flinched at his touch. His body caved around her, pressing her tightly up against the wall, barely allowing her to breath.
"You will not call our child a monster." He hissed between his teeth. "You will be a caring mother unlike our own. If you dare say that again." He paused, and said dryly in her ear.
"I'll kill you."Sebastian roughly pulled himself away from Clary. Making her topple to the ground in tears. She clutched her chest and squeezed her eyes tightly. With a swift change of emotion he knelt beside her and with the back of his hand caressed her cheek.
"Do not fail me."
He then hauled himself up gracefully and called for Amatis. She obediently strode in and pulled Clary from the floor.
"Take her to her room and do not let her leave for two days straight." He demanded emotionless.
Clary let out a splutter of sadness.
"N-no, please Seb-Sebastian. I'm sorry."
Amatis began to drag her out when he raised his hand. Clary's eyes flickered with hope as he turned to face them. She prayed to Raziel he would forgive her for saying those awful things.
"Make that three days."Clary was shoved into her room brutally. She fell face first to the ground.
"I'm pregnant you know!" She screeched, twisting to glare at Amatis.
She heard Amatis's shallow laugh as the door slammed shut. Clary leapt up and rushed to the door; banging on it as loud as she could.
"Sebastian! Sebastian let me out!"
Soon, tears began to wield in her eyes and streak down her cheeks.
"Please," she whimpered. "Sebastian."
She rested her head on the door and released her cries of sorrow.
"Sebastian-"
Clary gasped, her hands found her way to her stomach and she held it tightly. It felt as if something had moved. Her eyes widened with fright. Whatever was in there; it had been there for a long time.
