Crystal's POV:
So, we drove all the way from Chattanooga Tennessee to Louisville, Kentucky to see The New Kids On The Block in concert. Savannah and I got permission from our parents since we had another friend who was a pen pal named Skye who lived there. Her parents said we could spend the night and then drive back home the next day.
So, Skye waited in line to get our tickets and got some really good seats. She got the third row from the stage, center stage. They were awesome seats. We picked her up and went to have dinner.
When we arrived at the concert the line was all the way around the building but we had VIP tickets so we didn't have to wait in that huge line. Once we were inside we went to the merchandise booth and each bought a new shirt and buttons. We grabbed some drinks and went to our seats.
Finally, the line had disappeared and it was almost showtime. The opening act had already performed and they were setting the stage for the boys. When the lights went down my heart started racing.
This wasn't the first show I have attended my mom took me to Nashville a couple of years ago. This was the first one without my parents and just my friends.
I will be sixteen in a couple of months and I can't wait to get my first car. My parent's already bought it. They bought me a blue 1988 Hyundai excel, nothing fancy but it will be mine.
They started the opening song and it was so loud. Girls were screaming and the music was loud. The band walked out and started their performance. My heart skipped a few beats when I saw him, my favorite member Jordan Knight.
He had been my favorite member since I heard them singing Please don't go, girl, when we were on vacation in Tampa Florida. I fell in love with his voice and had no clue what the guys even looked like. The first time I saw their videos I knew Jordan and his falsetto voice was my favorite.
So, for the last three years, I had been in the New Kids craze. I have all the dolls, most of the buttons, their bedsheets, I have all their posters, all their tapes of every album, I have some videotapes, I buy the teen magazines every month just to get the new pin-ups. My entire room is full of their posters but mostly Jordan's.
He is my favorite I am a Jordan Girl, and one day he is going to be my husband. I joke around, only in my dreams. Like Debbie's song, I laugh at the irony. We danced and sang along until the show ended.
When we left the venue I stepped outside and walked down the street. Savannah and Sky were talking to some boys outside. I needed to stretch so I told them I was going to walk around the building and would be back.
I walk down the side and around the back stands the one and only Jordan Knight. He is drinking a bottle of water and just relaxing. I freak out and I want to run up to him but I can't move. Then all of a sudden his chocolate eyes lock onto mine and I am speechless.
Jordan's POV:
Same show just a different night, a different city. It's the same everywhere we go. Same songs, same kind of girls.
I just want to one day meet a nice beautiful girl who likes me. Jordan Knight me not the popstar me. We deal with the crazy fans in every city. Almost striping our clothes off, chasing us to our motel, we have no life because we are famous.
We can't go hang out at the mall or do anything like most people our age. I will be twenty-one in a few weeks and it's just getting old. I am lonely. I have been on the road since I was fifteen even tho I joined the band when I was fourteen we didn't start touring until we got our big break and joined Tiffany's tour.
