Crystal and Jordan were preparing for dinner tonight with Selena's parents to discuss the baby and the wedding.

They had washed all the dishes that were normally set on their table in their formal dining room which they rarely use.

They were preparing dinner for eight. Crystal was making grilled chicken breasts, with homemade mashed potatoes, asparagus, corn, yeast rolls, and a salad to start. She had already gotten the salad and toppings ready.

The main course would stay in the warmer until time to serve. Everything was sat in serving dishes and would be brought to the table after everyone had finished their salad.

Jordan had set the bar up to serve drinks and just set the insulated ice bucket up and filled it. He sat their fancy glasses out and their best bottles of liquor. He had bottles of wine chilling and wine glasses set out. He was a little nervous about how this night was going to go.

He knew they were both so young they would only be nineteen when the baby was born. No matter what no one was to blame, it wasn't planned, but this baby would be loved. He was a little upset because he was so young but Eric explained the situation. He was more upset because Eric and Selena's life was going to change and they were so young. Neither of them had gotten a chance to live and enjoy life and now they were going to be parents.

Crystal was in the kitchen and she was looking at Jordan. He was deep in thought as he stared at the bar area. She knew he was worried about how dinner was going to go tonight. She knew he was afraid and so was she that Selena's parents would blame Eric for ruining their daughter's life. Tonight's dinner was so they could figure out how to help the kids not placing blame. She would be damned if anyone would put her son down.

She placed the salad in the fridge and walked into their formal dining room. She wrapped her hands around her husband's waist and laid her head on his back.

Jordan placed his hands on hers. "We got this baby. No matter what we stick together. Thank you I really needed that."

"Yes, we do and I know." Jordan turned and wrapped his arms around Crystal. They stood there hugged up just enjoying the comfort of each other.

Their doorbell rang. Crystal and Jordan looked at each other, leaned down, and kissed her. Then he walked to the door. There stood Selena's parents Brock and Sandy.

"Hello, please come in," Jordan said as he stepped back. Crystal joined him and welcomed their guests.

"Sandy, Brock so nice to see you again. Please come in and have a seat in the sitting area." The sitting area was right beside their formal dining room. The bar Jordan had set up was right by the door.

"Crystal, Jordan pleasure to see you both again," Sandy said as they sat down in two of the chairs.

"Would you like something to drink? We have water, soda, wine, beer, and any liquor you could want."

"I would love a gin and tonic," Sandy replied.

"I'll have a beer, Guinness if you have it," Brock stated.

"I will take an amaretto sour, love and yes we do Brock."

Jordan kissed Crystal and grabbed their drinks. He brought the tray back and handed everyone a drink, then took a seat next to Crystal.

"So, the reason we are all here tonight is to discuss our children and our grandchild. Eric explained how it happened and I can understand they are young but we can all help them through this," Crystal said nervously.

"What do you mean help them through this? This isn't going away and yes they are way too young to be parents. I know what happened your son was careless and knocked my baby girl up," Brock huffed.
