I decide to take Bella to one of my favorite restaurants on the outskirts of town. A family owned five star restaurant call Thacarys. I can't help look over at Bella every chance I get, she really does look beautiful. She's using the new phone I bought her to take videos and pictures of herself. Her smile bright against the sunshine.

"Where are we going Kairo?" She turns her body to face me. "A very close friend of mine owns the restaurant we're going to." She grins at me. "Let's take a picture." We come to a stop at the stop sign and she leans over the middle council and holds the phone in front of us. The sun set casting the perfect lighting as she snaps the photo. "Perfect." She leans back into her seat and I continue the drive to the restaurant.

Once we arrive I park on the side of the building and run around the front of my car to open the passenger door for Bella. "Thank you" she places her hand on my chest before making her way to the sidewalk. I take her hand in mine and marvel at the fact that it fit perfectly in my own. When we enter the restaurant I'm greeted by one of my best friends, Elijah. "What's up man?" He hugs me before stepping back and greeting Bella. "I'm Elijah but my friends call me E. What's your name?" He takes her hand and places a kiss on her knuckles.

"I'm Isabella but Bella for short." Her brown eyes shining in excitement. "Come, I've saved the best table for you." E turns and starts to lead us through the restaurant. He leads us through a dark hallway and then up some stairs to the rooftop. Once we reach the top E swings the door open exposing the beautiful scenery in front of us. There was a cabana with a table set for two surrounded by waterfall leaves. There were lights strung between the leaves, it looked like fireflies.

Bella gasps before letting go of my hand and walking forward to get a better look at what's in front of us. "This is... absolutely beautiful." She turns to me with a grin so wide I think her face is going to split open. E pulls the leaves back allowing the perfectly set table to come into view. There's a bottle of red wine on the table along with a plate of cheese. "Your future awaits." E bows as Bella walks inside the cabana, he gives me a award winning smile before leaving us alone on the rooftop.

"This is amazing Kai. Thank you." Her nickname making me smile. "You're welcome. Remember a date is always supposed to be spontaneous and fun." A soft look covers her face before she asks, "This is a date?" She stares at me awaiting my answer. The way she's staring at me forces me to clear my throat. "Yes." My heart almost beats out of my chest as she smiles at me.

"Shall we start with the cheese madam?" She lets out a giggle before opening her mouth, allowing me to place a cheese cube inside. She closes her mouth around my fingers, her warm tongue running across them. I can't help the devilish groan that escapes my mouth, she stares up at me through her lashes. The door opens and she leans back in her seat so smoothly. "Sir may I present to you our soup of the day." A waiter pops his head inside and I nod before he places two bowls on the table. "Crab and mushroom soup." The mix of seasonings fills my nose causing my stomach to growl in anticipation. "Thank you." I reach inside my jacket and tip him a twenty.

"This smells amazing." Bella grabs her spoon and dips it into her bowl. Her eyes go wide as the flavors dance on her tongue. She grins in appreciation before having another spoonful. I pour her a glass of wine which she happily accepts. "This has to be one of the best things I've eaten in a while." Her words make me frown. "Did you not eat when you were with James?" I have no clue what makes me ask that, My frown deepening as she looks away from me. "Every once in a while. I always felt sick to my stomach so I never really ate." Her words strike a nerve in me but I hold my temper together.

"Well with me there's nothing to worry about." I take her hand in my own and place a soft kiss on it. "I really appreciate everything you've done for me the past few days." The wind blows and her perfume fills my nose. She looks at me for what seems like forever before finally looking away. "It's no problem." The waiter returns with the nights main dish and that's when the fun starts.

Two bottles of wine later, Bella and I are roaming the streets of the small town just outside of the city when she squeals and runs off into the darkness. "Bella wait up!" I run after her and almost run past her, not noticing her in front of a box left in front of a building. "A kitten." She scoops the small feline up and begins to tear up. "Oh she's precious." She holds the kitten in front of me, it opens its eyes to reveal beautiful blue ones looking back at me. The small animal meows, it's one of the most adorable sounds I've heard. "Can I keep it Kai?" She looks up at me and I can't help the smile that covers my face once again.

"Fine. But she stays in the guest room tonight until we can get her to the vet tomorrow." Bella shrieks before throwing herself into my arms careful so she doesn't hurt the cat. "Come on let's head home." She turns and starts back towards my car. I walk behind her enjoying the view, but mainly appreciating the eccentric woman in front of me. Am I falling for her? Worry fills my body, the last woman I loved went mad... I don't want the same thing to happen to Bella.

Opening the passenger door Bella slips inside setting the kitten on her lap before beaming up at me. I give her a half smile before shutting her door. I slowly make my way to the driver side and slip inside. The drive home is silent except for the radio. Bella strokes the kittens head while staring out the window at the passing scenery. My brain running wild with memories of my last relationship, how it went downhill so quickly. I don't want that to happen with us, the last few days together have been wonderful but I think it's time I pulled back.

Once we get back to the hotel I take her upstairs and help her set up a box with a blanket for the small cat. I lay down newspaper just in case, I don't want to spend 1500 getting my carpets cleaned. "Thank you again." She lays her head against my chest as we stand on the balcony together. "It's no problem really." I stare out into the night not even noticing her slip away. "I'm gonna take a quick shower. Maybe we can watch a movie after?" I turn to look at her, she's literally glowing. "Yea sure." She scrunches her nose up before disappearing into the apartment. What am I gonna do?
