(Victoria's pov)
I groan as my alarm clock goes off at 5am once again. I sit up and rub the sleep out of my eyes before heading into the bathroom to wash my face. Carter appears a few moments later grumbling about quitting the job. "Get over it. In three days we go on our first mission and all of this early morning training will be worth it." I bump him with my hip before exiting the bathroom and throwing on our training uniform.

I do 25 jumping jacks, a new wake up regimen Mr. Green taught me, before heading to the door of our dorm. "I'll meet you at the gym. I'm gonna take a quick jog." I exit our room and make my way out of our building. I begin to jog towards my favorite coffee shoppe, enjoying the brisk morning air. I fill my lungs with the coldness trying to ignore the fact that something felt off about this morning. When I get to the coffee shop I slip inside ready to get my
Skim fat latte like every morning when I'm stopped by a tall man dressed in all black. "Good morning Victoria." He grabs me and instinct takes over, I elbow him in the nose before kicking his feet out from under him. When he hits the ground I waste no time in placing my foot over his neck. "Who are you?"

I look up and finally notice that the coffee place is empty. "Victoria, you certainly have your mothers face. It's my ambition that drives you though." A man comes out from behind the counter with a sly smile on his face. "Jason." I spit out his name like venom. He takes a seat in one of the booths and waves his hand at the seat across from him. "Please join me." I slowly remove my foot from the mans neck and make my way over to him.

"What do you want?" He chuckles as i stare at him. He says nothing as he sips his coffee. The silence begins to be too much and I open my mouth to speak once again but he beats me to the punch. "Why the CIA?" He sips what I assume is tea from one of the shoppes coffee mugs while looking over the rim at me. "So I can catch sick fucks like you." I smile sweetly at him and watch as he frowns. "So you know about my business I presume?" I nod not saying anything. As I stare at him I take note of how his hair is no different than the picture I saw a few days ago, full of grease and other hair products.

"Everyone has to make money somehow. Many of the women I work with are very willing. They wanna please me of course." I laugh in his face, like an actual genuine laugh erupts from my throat. Jason looks at me with amusement dancing in his eyes. "That's called Stockholm syndrome." I deadpan as he watches me. "Some call it that, others call it being in love. That's not why I came to see you though." He checks his watch before looking back up at me, in an instant his eyes go from welcoming to dark and evil. "I want you to kill Kairo Green."

On my way back to the station I go over everything Jason has told me in my head... he has a vengeance out for him over a woman named Bella. It's sickening actually now that I have a chance to process it. A woman he didn't even love at that.. I think about going to Mr. Green about the situation but then I remember he's out of town for the weekend. The day he gets back is the day we're supposed to go capture Jason..

When I get back to my dorm Carter is waiting for me. "What the hell happened to you Vic?" His nose flares as he stares at me, his chest rising and falling with every breath he takes. "I lost track of time.." I trail off not wanting to drag him into the mess I've ended up in. "Today was important, they taught us how to work together and adapt to one another's fighting styles. Mr. Cody wasn't very happy with you." Guilt fills my body as I listen to Carter. I'm one of the best fighters out of our entire class and I know how important it was for him and Lanei to be able to move with me if need be. "I'm sorry Carter. It completely slipped my mind." I follow behind him as he walks to the bathroom. He slams the door in my face and I huff before laying my head against the door.

"Carter I'm sorry okay?" He stays silent pretending he can't hear me so I turn and make my way over to my bed. I sigh and plop down on my bed, completely over the day at this point. The lock from the bathroom door clicks and it slowly opens up. Carter steps out and squints at me. "Are you really sorry?" I look over at him fully and grin softly, "Yes." He makes his way over to my bed and makes himself comfortable next to me. "Good because I have tea." We spend the rest of the day talking and laughing at stupid stuff, and I'm grateful because it definitely took my mind off of this morning.

It's around 8:45 when Carter hops up and goes to open our door. "What are you-" my sentence cut short when Lanei bounds into the room bearing Chinese food. "Hey Vic." She tries to hide the blush that creeps across her cheeks but fails miserably. "Hey Lanei. What's this?" She sits down on the end of my bed before handing me a bag full of food. "It's team night. I made that up this morning." I look over at Carter who has a devilish look on his face. "And what happens on team night?" The pair snort before looking back at me. "We get to know each other better obviously." Carter wiggles his eyebrows at me before cutting his eyes to Lanei who's still looking at me.

Realization pops into my brain as I look back at her. Her big brown eyes full of amusement. "Oh I see.. If that's the case then Lanei you come sit up here next to me." Her lips part slightly as she gasps. Her red curls bouncing as she moved closer to me. "Come on I don't bite." I push as she finally plops down next to me. Throwing my arm around her shoulders I pull her closer to me. "I have plans on getting to know you separately." I whisper in her ear before turning to smirk at Carter who only rolls his eyes. Lanei turns bright red as she chokes on her drink, "Woah don't die on us now." I tease her and she flicks me off. I think tonight's gonna be a good night after all.

A whole chapter in Victoria's pov!! Finally. Do you think she's gonna tell Kairo about what happened? Is she gonna turn on him? Don't forget to vote!
