It's been a week since Kairo left and I missed him more than ever. Binx and I have slept in his bed the last three night just because I hate being alone in this giant apartment. Chacha and Jorge come over everyday but it's not the same.

My phone pings so I reach for it, a message from Chacha lights up my screen.
Chacha💋: don't forget today's our bbq in the park. Bring dessert!
I groan in annoyance, I completely forgot about that. Forcing myself to get up I jump in the shower hoping it'll wake me up. The warm water doing nothing for my sour attitude so I quickly wash myself and get out.

I throw on some super cute skinny jeans with a green flannel. I pair it with a navy blue vest, scarf and brown boots. Fall in New York was coming fast which meant winter was right around the corner. Binx paws at my boots as soon as I get to the front door. "You want to come too girl?" I pick her up and notice she's getting heavy. "You're getting big on me girl." She mews at me. I grab her collar and harness, once she's ready we head out the door. It's only 11am but the sun was shining brightly today. I pull my sunglasses down over my eyes as I exit the building with Binx.

I've been watching the stupid building for days. The same 50 people go in and out of those doors, until today. A woman with a black cat exits the building, she's about the same height as Bella. She stops looks around and huffs before heading towards downtown. I follow behind the woman from the other side of the street, her walk very pointed as if she already had the rest of her life planned out. For some reason I feel like I know her, her honey blonde hair bouncing in the wind. The woman turns her head to check for cars and that's when I see it, the same yellow bow tattoo Bella had on her neck.

The walk to the bakery was a long one because Binx wanted to be an explorer of nature. We entered the bakery and were greeted with the smells of fresh cookies and cakes. "Welcome! What can we do for you today?" A older woman greets me from behind the counter, she's a bit more plump then others but that just means she's great at her job. "I would like 2dozen cookies fresh please. It doesn't matter what flavor they are. I'll also need a batch of brownies please." Her fingers clacking away on the register as she clicks in my order. "Will that be all for you dear?" Her voice sweet like chocolate. "Yes ma'am." As I wait for her to tell me what I owe one of her employees comes from the back with a small cat treat for Binx. "We love animals." I smile and nod at the girl before she gives Binx the treat.

Once I've paid for the deserts I make my way across the street to the pet store to buy a bag for Binx. There's so many options to choose from but I go with the royal blue one just to match my outfit. I decide to go into Prada to buy a few gifts for my friends. I put Binx in her bag before heading inside the store. My eye lands on a white Cleo Prada bag and I know I have to get it for Chacha, it practically matches her personality.

"Hello dear, shopping for you or someone else?" The cashier comes up to me with a bright smile on her face. "I'm looking for a gift for a friend, he's very eccentric. Loud and bold." The woman smiles and tells me to follow her. She leads me down the aisle and stops when we get to the sweater section. "This is our brand new 'over sized nappa leather bomber jacket' it comes in purple, yellow and green." She hands me a purple one and I look it over. I could definitely see Jorge in one of these. "I'll take it in a Large." I pay for the items and then make my way across the street to this cute little shoppe that I wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for the purple mascot outside.

When I walk into the shop I'm greeted by a very energetic white man with long locs. "Welcome to my space man." The smell of weed radiates off him only adding to the hippie vibes he was giving. "Hello sir. How are you?" I check the time on my phone, it's 1:30 and I have to be at the park by 2:45. Hes showing me around the store when I notice a sign above the back counter. It said they make custom tshirts. "Can you print pictures on the shirt?" He looks back at me and follows my line of sight. "Oh yea sure. Whatever you want I'll give you 15% off because your a first time customer." His words bring smile to my face. I pull out my phone and pull up the picture Kai and I took together when he took me on our first date. He hooks my phone up to the computer and downloads the picture, "The shirt will be done on Thursday." I thank him and purchase a set of bracelets that I plan on giving to Charlie and Damion.

I grab the desert from the bakery on the way to the park. The freshly baked goods making my stomach growl reminding me that I missed breakfast. Chacha and Jorge are seated at a bench waiting for me when I walk up. "It's about time hoe!" Jorge pulls me in for a hug before Chacha even realizes I'm here. "Ummm Chacha?" She looks up from her phone and her face lights up. "Sorry! Hi babe how are you?" She pulls headphones out from under all her hair and now I see why she didn't know I was here.

"So you guys I got you gifts.." we sit at the bench near the grill and I just can't wait to give them their presents anymore. "Chacha you first." I hand her the bag that has her new purse and wait in anticipation as she opens it. She screams as she stares at the bag, "Bitch no you didn't!" She holds the purse up with a wide smile. Jorge fist bumps me while we watch Chacha fangirl over the purse. "Jorge I didn't forget you." I hand him his bag and he happily opens it to see what's inside. His reaction nothing less than what I was expecting. "Bitch please I was gonna order this last night!" He wraps me in a hug that I happily return. "You make us look like bad friends. We didn't get you anything." Chacha pouts from across the table. "That's not the point." I laugh at her and she fake cry's.

The barbecue is in full swing when I notice a man watching from across the street. His beard oily and unshaven, his stature radiating creepy vibes all over. I quickly pull out my phone and text Charlie. She and Damion appear from behind the trees and she comes to sit next to me. "Don't make it obvious. The man across the street has been following us for about a block maybe." I noticed him earlier but I truthfully thought he was just going to the park like everyone else. She skillfully looks over and notices him as well. "Damion. Look across the street." When he looks the man notices and saunters away. "What the hell?"

This was a filler chapter, I couldn't figure out where to end it so enjoy one of the longest chapters in this book.
