(Kairos pov)
I spend the rest of the day lounging around my room while I wait for Bella to call me. The bed feels too big and the sheets just aren't right. I huff and check the time, it's been two hours since I last talked to her. Granted she's probably ignoring me considering I didn't speak to her for two days. After our talk on Tuesday I realized that I was definitely still in love with her and it scared me. Everything was going so perfect for us the first time around, I don't know if I could handle her not wanting me back after so much time has past.

I get up and throw on some clothes, I can't sit around in the room waiting on her all day it'll drive me crazy. I walk over to the coffee shop that's across the street from the hotel and order a black coffee. Walking around near the downtown area I notice a small shoppe nestled in between two buildings. Something screams at me to go inside so I cross the street and do exactly that.
The inside of the shoppe is like nothing I've ever seen before. The lights are dim and there's giant snakes slithering through the ceiling beams. "Welcome. Is there anything I can help you with?" A old lady hobbles out from behind the register. She has a purple headscarf and giant oval rimmed glasses that make her eyes seem huge and cartoon like.

"I'm not sure actually..." as I look around Bella's face pops into my head. "Well truth be told I'd like to buy a gift. It's for a woman who means just about everything to me." The old lady beckons me to follow her with her finger and she leads me over to a section of the store that has so many pieces of jewelry. "Women love things that are beautiful. They also want things that you think would mean something special." She leaves me alone in the corner of the store and I surf through the many necklaces and bracelets.
I lift a necklace that has a lavender diamond hanging from a gold chain. "It means devotion and helps one keep calm." The old woman appears beside me making me jump. She eyes me before turning and grabbing two small charms along with what I'm assuming is an anklet. "A dogs paw print. It means guidance, protection and loyalty." She holds it in front of my face so I could see it. "The dolphin is for kindness and communication. These two charms mean your willing to do whatever it takes. Do you understand?" Her words touch my heart, am I willing to do whatever it takes?

Yes! My subconscious is loud and clear with the answer to my own question. "Yes ma'am. I'll take them." I follow her to the register and she rings me up. Once I pay for my items I thank her and make my way out of the shoppe. My phone rings and I get excited only to see that it's Damion. "What's up man?" He sighs into the phone and instantly I'm worried.

"Victoria has been transferred to the Washington unit along with Carter." Confusion fills my body so I lean against the wall of a building. "What do you mean? I thought all new recruits stay in New York?" I stop in the middle of the sidewalk at an attempt to hear him better.
"Word is that Jason in on the move, he's had people keeping an eye out for Bella. I sent Victoria and Carter down there to be apart of a team to stop Jason." Worry replaces the confusion and I begin to head back towards my hotel. I have to get to the station and see what kind of a team they've put together. "I need you to head over there and prep them. We have two weeks before Jason will be in Washington." The call ends and I begin to sprint, go figure all of this would be happening the moment we end up back in eachothers lives.

I quickly change into my uniform and then jump into my car making sure to ask the valet to go up to my room and doublé check that the door is locked. He nods and I speed out of the parking garage. I can't explain it but this time it feels different, there's an urgency behind it. It take 45 minutes to get to the station because traffic is fucking horrible at six o clock. I shine my badge at the entrance and slip inside the building, there's people bustling about everywhere. The usually calm environment full of anguish and uncertainty.

Jason's case is considered administrative because not only did he kidnap Bella with the intent to sell her, he attacked me. This put him at the top of our criminal listing, every station of ours across the world knows about him. One of our oldest agents meets me by the elevator and attempts to fill me in on what's happening here. "Someone has gone rogue. Only chief knows who it is, he wants his top five best agents in the conference room now." I follow behind Jackson, a frown covering my face the entire way down the hall. Benny, Jcook and Tristen are all waiting for us at the door.
"What the hell is going on?" Before anyone could answer Benny the conference room door swings open reveling Damion.

"Quickly get inside." We shuffle inside and he shuts the door, as a extra precaution he shuts the shutters inside the room. "One of our best agents has gone rogue." He turns on the projector and Kenneth's face pops onto the screen. "You're kidding me right?!" He looks at me with a sad look on his face. Kenneth was just at my apartment back in New York, we watched a football game together.
"According to our sources Suspect 237 has been working for Jason Wilso for a little over a year. We should have suspected it when he bought us all the information on Jasons trafficking business." I try and keep my anger at bay but to no avail. My leg thumps viciously as I listen to Damion. "He's given Jason the whereabouts on one of our high profile people. Isabella Martin formerly known as Isabella Batrez."

Damion keeps looking over at me with his face full of concern. I manage to make it through the meeting without flipping the damn table over and angrily walk down to security to let them know about Kenneth. When I get down there Carter and the girl I assume to be Victoria are down there flirting with the guard. "Oh come on, we'll be back before my dad even knows we left." Carter rolls his eyes in annoyance as the guard once again tells them no. They eyeball me as they walk away from the security booth. "Hey Charles." The man stands from behind his desk and salutes me with a smile. "What can I do for you Kairo?" I hand him Kenneth's picture and he frowns. "Really?" Charles and Kenneth had grown pretty close back in New York before he was transferred to this building last year. "It's sick."

Rogue agents? Oh man this is getting crazy lmao. Don't forget to vote.
