(Makeup look up above)

When I wake up the next morning I smile in contentment. Thinking about last night I look over to find that I'm in bed alone. I get up and patter out into the living room to look for Kairo. Noticing the patio door open I walk over to see if he's out there and to my surprise he is. He has a ear piece on and he's pacing back and forth, he doesn't seem to be in a very good mood so I slowly back away and tiptoe into the kitchen.

As I eat my cereal I stare at the countertop remembering last nights dinner. It was pastisio which is stuffed eggplant and a bean salad. I can't help the smile that washes over my face as last nights conversation floats around in my brain.

"You know you're awfully nice for someone I just met." We lock eyes and he smirks at me. "What can I say princess? There's just something about you that pulls me in." His eyes slowly travel down to my lips before he locks eyes with me again. "Can I kiss you Bella?"

I'm knocked out of my thoughts by the slamming of the patio door. I look around the corner to find Kairo with his hand on the door. I slowly walk over to him and place my small hand on his back. "Hey everything okay?" At the sound of my voice he turns to look at me. He pulls me into a hug and not knowing what to do I hug him back. "It's better now. My company is full of idiots that's all." He looks down at me and I can see the distress in his eyes. "Can I help you with anything?"

He releases me from his grip and I pad behind him to the kitchen. "Are you any good at large numbers and finding mistakes?" He asks without looking at me. "I took three years of business class before I graduated." I offer up and he shrugs. "Stay right there." He leaves me alone in the kitchen only to return a few seconds later with a laptop and a stack of papers. "This is last months numbers compared to this months." His fingers bounce in between the two numbers and I almost fall off my seat when I notice how bad the miss print is.

"Don't worry, I can fix it." He stares at me, searching my face for something before sighing and walking away. I spend the rest of my morning fixing the numbers on his spreadsheets. It's about 11:30 once I'm done. "Kairo?" I call out to him and he doesn't answer. I walk into the living room to find him asleep on the couch. Another computer lay open in front of him and more papers are laying about. I cover his shirtless body, which might I say is very fun to look at, and gather up the rest of his paperwork and make my way back into the kitchen. "No harm in finishing what I've started."

Kairo has one of the largest hotel company's I've ever heard of. He owns 2 buildings in this part of New York and 13 others in different states. The reason his numbers were so off is because someone forgot to factor in the appliances that the hotels provide for guests. Warm hands place themselves on my shoulders before soft lips kiss my neck. "Well look who's finally up." I turn to look at him and he definitely looks better than he did earlier. "Did you finish... all over this?" He stares at the mound of paperwork next to me and I smile sheepishly. "I know I should have asked but you looked so peaceful sleeping and.." he cups my face with his large hands. "Thank you."

He looks at me before placing a gentle kiss on my forehead that makes my cheeks heat up. When he pulls away I can't help but admire his very well built stature. He was pure muscle and I drooled at the way the muscles in his back flex as he leans over and reads over my numbers. "I haven't been this spot on in over a year." He mumbles more to himself. "Bella would you like to be my new assistant?" My eyes go wide as I look at him. "Are you serious?" He nods while still looking at the screen in awe. "I'd love too!" A cool smile falls over his face before he claps his hands and turns to me. "Get dressed meet me back in the kitchen in two hours." He bounds out of the kitchen before I can object.

I stare into the guest rooms closest before reaching for a baby pink satin dress, I find some black strappy heels and a black Gucci clutch. I take a quick shower before jumping out and starting to work on my makeup. I apply a light pink eyeshadow with silver glitter on the inside corners of my eye before topping off the look with a soft pink lipstick. I look at the clock and realize I only have 30 minutes left to put on my dress and do my hair.

Focusing on my hair I brush it throughly before going with a high ponytail. My curls giving me a slight halo affect. Once my hair is done I rush to put on my dress and my heels, "Who knew going out took so much prep." I huff and I finish putting on my shoes. I go over to the mirror and stare at myself, I've never felt this beautiful before. I exit the room and make my way towards the kitchen where I find Kairo waiting. It gets hard to breath as I look at him, he's wearing a brand new olive green suit with a black button down shirt. He left the top three buttons open exposing his neck and part of his chest. All I could think about was how I'd like to kiss him there.

"Bella... you look amazing." He walks over to me and places his hands on my hips. "Not so bad yourself Mr." he grins at me before pulling out his phone and dragging me down the hall to the giant mirror that was there. "Smile." He holds up the phone and snaps a picture of us together before pulling me in for a kiss. "Let's go."

How are you guys liking the book? Do you think she's moving too fast or is it Kairo? Lmk in the comments.
