A week. It's been a week since the crash. It's been a week without Wanda. A week without her sitting at the kitchen table waiting for me with her adorable smile. A week without her sweet scent of vanilla. A week without my love. A week of emptiness.
"-kicked out." was all I heard from Sarah's rant as I removed myself from my thoughts.
"What?" I asked.
"Did you just zone me out?" she asked with a eye roll. "What I said was, if you keep skipping classes and don't do your work you're going to get kicked out." she said. "The doctors cleared you to go back and you've already missed 3 months."
"Okay." I said.
"Okay? That's it?"
"What do you want me to say?"
"Something other than 'okay'. Look, I get that you're worried-"
"Just stop."
"No, y/n. You want her back I know. I'm worried about her too but-"
"I'm past worried, Sarah! I'm scared! It's been a week and there's no trace of her anywhere! And it's all my fault I-"
"No. It's not your fault, it's no one's fault."
"I don't want to talk about this anymore." I said standing up and walking into my room, slamming and locking the door behind me.
Why can't I find her? Why didn't I do something? What if she's hurt? What if she's dead?
Tears streamed down my face as I dropped to my knees and sobbed. I had to do something. Look harder. I can't function with out her.

"452 Melcon road. (Not a real street or place just too lazy to look up a real destination) That's where she is." I heard Tony say softly. I was hiding behind the wall listening in to the conversation.
"Are we gonna tell, y/n?" Natasha asked.
"No, she's still not fully healed and she hasn't sleep since the accident. We can get Wanda and get out without any indication we were there." Steve said.
They found her. She's alive...and they expect me to stay here? No. I'm going to get her myself.
I silently snuck into Tony's lab, grabbed my newly made suit, stole one of Tony's motorcycles and left. They would probably see that I was gone soon but I didn't care. I needed to save Wanda.
When I arrived at the addressed my first thought was that they had gotten it wrong. It was a day care. Kids were running around inside and eating crackers and coloring. How could this be where she was?
But then I heard it. It wasn't loud enough for a normal person to hear but for me, it was crystal clear. I ran to the back of the building where I found a cellar door with a lock. I looked around a few times before guiding the lock into my hand without touching it or making much noise.
I quietly opened one of the doors and went down the steps, closing the door behind me when I was further down. The room was filled with little kid toys and supplies as well as boxes of of adult clothing and alcohol.
"Get away from me!"
Wanda.
I quickly ran to where her voice came from busting through the door that separated the rooms causing the two people within the room to go silent. I froze.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't my favorite niece." The figure that had taken Wanda was standing there, arms crossed, mask off.
"Y/n! Get out of here!" Wanda screamed.
"Hush." he demanded. "You know what happens when you speak without spoken to."
I didn't say anything, I just pushed him against the wall with my forearm against his throat. He smirked.
"Ooo, still got that fire in you, huh?"
I still didn't speak, rage filled my body as I continued to stare at him. I pressed harder against his throat, slightly choking him now. I could see his lips moving and forming words but I couldn't hear him. I couldn't hear anything. It was just anger. I drowned out everything around me. I forgot why I had even came here. Until a small voice started to break through.
"Y/n!" the voice was muffled like as if I was underwater and someone was screaming for me at the surface. "Y/n!" The voice was full now and I gained sense of what I was doing. I removed my arm from his throat and watched in disbelief as he choked for air.
"You're not the same as I remember."
"No, I'm not." I finally said. "I've had to fight for myself. But you wouldn't know that now would you."
"Still bitter about me leaving?"
"I haven't seen in it 11 years. You didn't come for my mom, your sister's, funeral. You didn't answer when my dad died and now. Now you show up. Not to comfort me or be there for me. But to take someone else away from me. Do you understand how fucked up that is?!"
"Oh relax I wasn't gonna kill her."
"She's strapped down to a table, in a cellar that's almost soundproof with cuts and bruises up and down her body! You blew up my car and dragged her out! If you weren't gonna kill her what the fuck were you going to do?!" I yelled, tears stinging at the back of my eyes as the image of Wanda's bloody body sunk in. I had said it but I hadn't really taken it in.
"I was just trying to get your attention." he said nonchalantly.
"My attention? There are a million ways to grab someone's attention without kidnapping their loved one!" I yelled. He smirked. "What are you smirking at?"
"Nothing." he said. "So, you wanna battle it out see who wins and gets to take the girl? Or you wanna just talk?"
"You think I'm just gonna let you go?" I laughed.
"So, fighting then." he nodded and before I knew it he had me pinned to the ground.
