After Natasha had her moment we got straight into talking strategy with Rhodey. Not much time for reunions when two of our teammates are hurling into space on a donut ship with some unknown wizard and Squidward-looking alien.

"So, we gotta assume they're coming back right?" Rhodey asked.

"And they can clearly find us," Wanda added, a hint of her accent breaking through.

"We need all hands on deck." My dad informed us. "Where's Clint?"

He looked to Nat. "After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal. It was too tough on their families. They're still on house arrest."

"Who's Scott?" My dad asked.

"Ant-Man," Steve answered.

"There's an Ant-Man and a Spider-Man?"

"There's a lot we need to catch you up on," I said as I placed a hand on his shoulder.

He sighed. "okay, look. Thanos has the biggest army in the universe and he is not gonna stop until he gets..." There was a pause. He looked around the room slowly. "Vision's stone."

"Well, then we have to protect it," Nat said as she got up from where she sat.

As Vision looked out the window he gave his simple answer. "No, we have to destroy it." Everyone turned to him. "I've been giving a good deal of thought to this entity in my head. About its nature but also its composition. I think if it were exposed to a sufficiently powerful energy source..." He began to walk towards Wanda. "something very similar to its own signature, perhaps..." The realization of what he was asking sank into Wanda and me both at the same time. She looked to me and then back to Vision as he finished. "-it's molecular integrity could fail."

"Yeah, and you with it." She responded.

"We're not having this conversation," I added.

He shifted his gaze between us both. Out of everyone, Wanda and I had grown the closest to Vision. If his life is what's on the line then there is no other option for us but to find a way to protect him just like we would with anyone else.

"Eliminating the stone is the only way to be certain that Thanos can't get it." His voice turned soft as he continued to try and persuade Wanda.

She shook her head. "That's too high a price."

"Only you have the power to pay it." Wanda didn't respond. Instead, she walked away.

"How could you even ask her to do something like that?" I asked, my voice quivering.

"Thanos threatens half the universe. One life cannot stand in the way of defeating him." Vision told the room.

After observing the conversation Steve finally said something. "But it should. We don't trade lives, Vision."

"Captain," he walked towards Steve. "70 years ago, you laid down your life to save how many millions of people? Tell me, why is this any different?"

My dad's face lit up, indicating he had an idea. "Because you might have a choice. Your mind is made up of a complex construct of overlays. Jarvis, Ultron, Tony, me, the stone. All of them mixed together, all of them learning from one another."

Wanda came back over. "You're saying Vision isn't just the stone?"

"I'm saying that if we take out the stone there's still a whole lot of Vision left. Perhaps the best parts."

"Can we do that?" Natasha asked.

"Not me, not here."

"Well, you better find someone and somewhere fast." Rhodey stepped in. The rest of his speech blurred out as Steve and I looked at each other seemingly having the same thought.

"I know somewhere." He told the room and then looked back at me. And with that, we were headed to Wakanda. Alex decided to stay behind in case New York was attacked again but I think it was more that he was scared. Afterall, he hadn't faced Bucky since he was called The Winter Soldier and he wasn't ready to face his past just yet.

Wakanda was truly a sight to behold and it had especially grown since the last time I'd seen it. Things seemed a lot busier and even more advanced which I didn't even think was possible. But it seems everything is possible here. When we landed we were greeted by King T'Challa and the Dora Milaje.

"Should we bow?" I heard my dad ask Rhodey.

"Yeah, he's a king." Rhodey replied. I held in my laughter and we exited the Quinjet.

"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something." Steve said and he and Natasha approached them first.

They shook hands and then the wonder that is my dad began his show. He cleared his throat and went down to bow until Rhodey stopped him. "What are you doing?" Wanda, Vision and I watched and snickered.

"Uh, we don't do that here." T'Challa explained. "So how big of an assault should we expect?"

"Uh, sir, I think you should expect quite a big assault." My dad said chasing up behind him.

"How we looking?" Natasha asked.

"You will have my Kingsguard, the border tribe, the Dora Milaje, and..." He pointed as we turned the corner. Me, Wanda, Vision and Sam walked ahead of the reunion to get to where we needed so we could remove the stone as quickly as possible.

Shuri was already waiting for us with a table in the middle of the room. "Orange today? Quite bold." I said when I saw her. She rolled her eyes with a laugh.

"Well, it's better than looking like I've just rolled around in a construction site."

"Still quick with the comebacks I see."

"No time to think when the world's being attacked." She looked over at Vision. "He's the one I'll be working on, I assume."

Vision smiled as he walked over to the table and laid down. The rest of the group had caught up with us by now. Shuri moved her wrist over his body as a blue light extended from her bracelet to scan him. When the scan was finished she opened her palm and a diagram of what the stone looked like in his head popped up.

"Whoa." My dad said.

"The structure is polymorphic." She said.

"Right, we-we had to attach each neuron non-non-sequentially." He explained.

"Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?"

Vision looked to him. "Because we didn't think of it."

"I could have told you to do that." I teased.

"Now, now. I'm sure they did their best." She joined.

"Can you do it?" Wanda asked.

Shuri sighed. "Yes, but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures." Wanda looked to me as Shuri looked to T'Challa. She was worried and honestly, so was I. "It'll take time brother."

"How long?" Steve asked.

"As long as you can give me." An alarm went off.

"Something's entered the atmosphere." The Captain of the Dora Milaje announced.

I am very angry at the Duffer Brothers right now. If you've watched the recent two episodes of Stranger Things I'm sure you know why. I'm also very angry at the government due to the new abortion laws. I won't talk about that much here though because I know everyone has their own opinion on the subject and I don't want to start anything.

I am going to be trying my best to go back to posting weekly so as a reminder I post every Friday😁
