Chapter 35

Not a smart idea. Definitely not a smart idea. I of course wiped the floor with that big buff alien but it may have pissed off the other one. He wiped the buildings with Strange. Not that I mind. But it was the next moments that changed everything.

The Spider-kid had joined Tony and I in our battle with the buff alien. Steve, Wanda and Alex were on their way to help Natasha. (Apparently New York wasn't these things only target). My dad was still trying to get out the green guy but he wasn't getting far. Everything was chaos.

Once the bigger alien was settled with, we noticed that's Strange's fight with the slim alien wasn't going so well. Actually it was going horribly. It had Strange restrained in the air and was guiding him onto its circular ship.

"Never a dull moment in this life." I sighed to myself.

The next few events happened so quickly that by the time it was over all anyone could do was stare with their mouths hung open. First, Squidward and Strange got sucked up into the circle ship with Spidey latched onto Strange with a web. Tony of course followed up and then the ship and everyone attached to it went out of view.

I was left on the ground with my dad and we just stood there with our mouths hanging open at what just happened. I looked at him and then it really finally hit me. MY DAD IS ALIVE! Not only that but he's standing right next to me! But not only that. I suddenly got a bad feeling. Like one of those moments where you can sense deep in your bones that something awful is happening. Wanda.

I pulled out my phone, which somehow wasn't smashed to a pulp, and called her. Anxiety rushing through my body. Come on, come on. Pick up. After four rings someone answered.

"Oh, thank god! Are you okay?!" I asked in a rush.

"Uh, now's not really a good ti- WOAH!"

"Sorry, sorry. I just had a bad feeling and I had to make sure you were okay." I explained. "Meet us back at the compound when your safe. Okay?"

"Got it! Love you!"

"Love you too, don't get hurt!" I rushed before the line went dead. I stared at the phone for a couple seconds afterwards, the bad feeling still sitting deep in me. But what was I gonna do?

"So, you found the one, huh?"

I glanced up to see my dad staring at me with a gleam in his eyes. God, how I missed that. I didn't even respond. I just ran into his arms and told him to hold me and that I missed him. Because I did. I missed him so very much.

We made it back to the compound and talked while we waited for the others to get back. I told him everything that had happened over the last two years and he told me about being stuck as the  Hulk the whole time on an alien planet that had no concept of time. He told me about how Thor found him and managed to turn him back but then immediately had him fight against his newly discovered sister.

"So...you and Thor?" I teased him poking lightly at his arm.

"No, no, none of that." He swatted my hand away. Right away we were back in our old ways. Like he had never even left, like I hadn't spent the past two years mourning him only to find out he wasn't even dead.

"Come on, not even-" I tried to continue teasing but then Wanda walked in. The sight of her brought a smile to my face until I took in how she looked. Her lip was split open and she had a decent sized cut on her forehead. Immediately I shot up and rushed over to her. "Oh my god!"

"Oh my god, me?! Look at you! What the hell happened?!" She yelled in concern.

"What? Oh, come on I don't look that bad. Just a bit of bruising." I laughed.

"A bit?!"

"I got hammered into the ground by a really buff alien what did you expect?! I'm not invincible!" The smile on my face wouldn't go away.

"You wish you were." Alex said as he came around from behind her. "Steve and Natasha are still in the Quinjet. Tony called."

"Wait, what happened to Tony?" Wanda asked.

"The wizard got caught by the skinny alien and Spidey tried to get him but that resulted in them both being lifted into the alien spaceship and Tony followed after. I'm assuming they're still on the ship." I explained.

"Jeez, can't leave you guys alone for two seconds!" Natasha busts in, most likely ranting about Tony. She comes to an abrupt stopped when she sees my dad sitting at the table. "Bruce?"

"Hey, Na-" He's cut off by Natasha hurling herself into his arms for a hug while also threatening him for making everyone think he was dead.

Hey guys!!! It's been so long!!! But it's summertime and I finally have time to write again!!! I know this chapter is really shorter than the rest but I felt like you guys needed an update after so long. So here's the best I got for right now.

I also want to inform anyone interested that I will be starting a Steve/Eddie from Stranger Things Story soon! (Because I am absolutely in love with them).

Anyways I'm gonna try to post a lot more recently and hopefully wrap up this story so I don't leave you guys hanging anymore.
