My hands started to tremble as tears began to fall down my cheeks. Alex took one of my hands in his and I could tell he was feeling the same as he clenched it with all his strength.

"Dad?" I cried, my voice cracking from the sudden use of my voice.

"Yeah. Yeah, it's me." he said, he stood only two feet away but it didn't feel real. He looked down at mine and Alex's clenched hands and then up to Alex. His nervous smile dropped and he stuttered for words. "Al-Alexander?" his voice cracked.

Alex straightened at his name. "H-hey. Dad."

"Oh my god. Oh my god!" He engulfed Alex into a hug, our hands untwining as Alex embraced him back. Dad pulled away for a second to look at him and then pulled me into the hug. We were all crying at this point.

"I hate to break up the moment but-" the mystery man was cut off.

"Banner! You lunatic!" a female voice shouted as she burst through the front doors. "Both of you, by the way. Left me all alone and didn't even have the decency to leave a note as to where you were going." she continued to scorn us. "If Stark hadn't informed F.R.I.D.A.Y. on where he was and said you were with him I would have thought you were kidnapped! I mean you can't just leave me without a clue while we're being invaded!"

I understood where she was coming from but the last part stumped us all.

I grabbed her faced and pulled her into a quick kiss. "Wanda, baby, darling, love of my life, I'm sorry. Tony said it was important and told me to bring Alex and I just wasn't thinking. But, what are you talking about?"

The room started to rumble beneath us.

"They're here." Dad said. Wanda looked at him quickly and then back at me. Apparently she didn't see clearly enough at first glance cause she whipped her head back to him. Her eyes widened.

"Our thoughts exactly." Alex whispered to her, also seeing her reaction.

"Wait. Who's here? What's going on?" I asked.

"There's no time to explain, we've got to go." the mystery man said.

"Yeah, and who exactly are you again?" Wanda asked.

"Doctor Stephan Strange, Master of the Mystic Arts. Now as I said we need to leave."

"Wait. That award winning Neurosurgeon who got into a really bad car accident and crippled his hands?" Alex asked.

"Guys, you can't just ask that!" Steve said. The first thing he's said since Alex and I walked in.

"Why not? Aren't you the one always saying it's good to have curiosity?" Tony contradicted him.

"Yeah and curiosity also killed the cat." Steve replied.

"We really! Don't have time for this! We are currently being invaded by the minions of a genocidal maniac which only one person in this room has managed to barely survive!" Strange yelled then briskly walked out the front door.

"Attitude much." I muttered. Wanda and Alex started laughing with me. The mystery bald guy followed Strange, Steve and Tony after, then Dad and the three of us behind him.

We walked out into the rumbling streets of Manhattan to find people running towards us- past us. They were running from something but the what wasn't clear yet. So of course being the group that we are, while everyone else was running away from the danger that was causing the wind to be wild, we ran towards it.

What we found was not what I was expecting. Though the "adults" weren't phased. Apparently they'd been expecting this!

There was a ring shaped spaceship as tall as the highest skyscraper and as wide as three streets put together. Strange lifted up his hands and the ship came to a slow stop before it hit the ground. And subtlety winked at Tony. Obviously not as subtle since Wanda and I noticed. Steve's shoulders tensed after the action was made so we assume he saw it too.

If this is how I die...I will have no regrets.

Why that was my first though when two alien came out of this contraption, I don't know. One was tall and slim with blading white hair and pale gray skin. The other was about four feet taller but much more muscular with gold and silver armor.

The smaller one spoke, "Hear me and rejoice. You are about to die at the hands of the Children of Thanos."

Thanos? I thought. Where have I heard that name before?

The bruter alien spoke next, his words were not in our language so we couldn't understand.

The slim alien spoke again, "Be thankful, that your meaningless lives are now contributing-"

"I'm sorry, Earth is closed today." Tony interrupted. Me, Wanda and Alex started to laugh. "You better pack it up and get outta here."

"Stonekeeper," it said as it looked to Strange. "Does this chattering animal speak for you?"

Strange didn't like that comment, he strode forward as he said, "Certainly not I speak for myself." He clapped his wrists together and made a weird symbol with his fingers and these orange light symbols appeared around his hands. Cool, but he's still boring. "You're trespassing in this city and on this planet." His balding sidekick did the same hand movements and the same reaction happened. What the fuck? I wonder what would happen if I tried.

"He means get lost, Squidward." That did it, us teenagers had to physically clamp our mouths shut so we didn't burst out laughing.

The slim alien turned it's head slightly to the one next to it and said, "He exhausts me." It replied in the foreign language. "Bring me the stone."

What stone? What the fuck is going on?

The buff alien took his giant crystallized looking axe and dropped it to the ground as it took a step towards us.

"Banner, you want a piece?" Tony asked.

"Definitely!" I said, a mischievous grin spreading across my features.

"Not you, baby Banner." Tony said then turned to my dad. "You, Banner."

My dad looked at him nervously. "Mmm, no, not really. But when do I ever get what I want?" He readied himself. "Okay. Push." The vibes in his neck popped and the skin above his collar turned a shade of green but it quickly faded.

"It's been a while." Tony said. " It's gonna be good to have you, buddy." My dad just looked at him and nodded as he shushed him and tried again.

"Let me just...I need to concentrate here for a second. Come on, come on man." The buff alien drew closer. He tried harder.

"Where's your guy?" Tony asked.

"I don't know. We've sorta been having a thing." Tony started to argue and my dad just agreed.

"Oh my god! Forget this." I pushed my way through and walked to meet the thing halfway.
