𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙣 4𝙠

Previously,,,,

Aether touched (or at least Paimon assumed) a fucking glowing pearl, now the question is. How did we go from a field trip to aether KO'ed by a pearl? Let me explain

4 days ago...

"Aether! Glad to meet ya again," Kukki waved and went to Aether. "I'm guessing you need something from me?" Paimon nodded, "Zhongli decided we should split up and talk to you! He and Childe are going to meet the queen with Y/N!" Kukki went silent, "YOU DID WHAT?" Kukki yelled, their voice echoing. 

"That is a horrible idea! Travelers should not be left alone to the queen with no locals!" They hurriedly grabbed their coat and dashed out, Aether and Paimon followed. "Why?" Aether asked, "The kingdom has been known for their traps, in the law, it was stated; "Whom who entered the kingdom must be a civilian, for those who are travelers cannot go alone", Kukki told them. 

"Hurry, we need to catch up!" Aether ran faster, worried for his friends. 

Once the three arrived, it looked normal on the outside. "We don't know which room or guard they went to, we must hurry" When they arrived at the throne room, a purple smoke has clouded their view; blocking them from seeing what's ahead. 

"Aiyah! This is a waste of time" Kukki grabbed Aethers hand and dashed through the thick smoke, "Wahh!" Paimon was lost within the smoke, "Paimon!" Aether lets go of Kukki's hand and searched for his emergency food. Aether covers his eyes with his arms to prevent the heavy smoke from going into his eyes. "Traveler? Traveler!" A familiar voice was heard, it was Paimon, he quickly followed the high-pitched voice and that lead him to an empty room. 

"Calculated and predicted as normal, time and place have been set and right" Aether looked around seeing a dark hallway was where the voice is from. Aether cautiously went into the dark hallway, at the end there stood a familiar H/C and a white cloak covering them. "Y/N?" The person froze before disappearing into thin air, "Who's there?" The voice asked, "I'm a traveler, what are you doing here?" Aether answered the voice. 

"How did you know my name? Did you perhaps uncover my secret? No, can't be. According to the time it should be held off until the next two weeks, yet this is strange." Y/N rambled, "Forgive me traveler but this is a secret from between us, even so, you might not remember after this" Y/N spawned a glowing pearl from thin air and waved its smoked to Aether to inhale. After a few seconds. 

Aether had passed out, "You must be the traveler from the outer world," Y/N patted his head. "It'll be fine soon, we shall meet in a few months," Y/N got up and walked away before sparing a glance to the boy, "You still have a nation to saved before meeting me." They disappeared out of thin air.

"Paimon!" Kukki grabbed Paimon's leg and dashed when they heard an echo from a room. "Woahh!" Paimon tried getting out of the grip but it was no use, "Aether where are you..." Kukki looked at every room before finding a spark from one of them. Paimon noticed and got out to fly over to him, shaking him awake. 

"Traveler! Traveler wake up!" Paimon shook Aethers body, "it's no use, whatever he inhaled here was strong. I can smell a distant residue" Kukki quickly created a portal and dragged Aether's body through it with Paimon following. "I have no clue on how long he will be waking up but when he does please ask him to recall what happened and make him drink water" Kukki laid Aether on their bed and went to their table, "I'm trusting on you Paimon, I will be back with the others. Don't worry about me" Paimon nodded and looked at Aether again.

Later...

"That went well didn't it Zhongli?" Childe carried the sleeping Y/N to the cave, "Aether should be waiting for us, Traveler! We're back!" Childe announced but silence greeted him. Paimon heard the rest and floated to them, "Childe! Y/N! Zhongli! Aether has been affected by something..." Paimon told the team who had a worried look, "What happened?" Zhongli asked, "Paimon don't know Paimon was going to the castle with Kukki and Aether when suddenly Paimon got lost and Paimon thinks Aether was trying to find Paimon!" Childe and Zhongli quickly went through Paimon to see Aether who was sweating.
