This chapter is dedicated to my day one niqqur Hussain blinks, for always being here, thank you for always believing in me.

He quickly got out of the car, walked as fast as he could , his steps in two.

"Good afternoon, ladies, permit me to cut this discussion off." He spoke smilingly.

Zayba's smile seized, like NEPA took light or is it PHCN "I thought I told you not to come?" She queried.

"Please excuse me." he raised his fore finger at her and immediately faced hibba.

"Allah's beautiful creation, I'm Fuad, your friend's soon to be husband and you're?"

"Hibba, your soon to be inlaw, handsome." She giggled right after.

"I don't do complement but thanks." He replied with a wide grin.

"You're welcome." She spoke in the best of her sexy tones.

"Please ride with me." he begged.

"Of course, Just give me a second to talk to this queen over here." She said as she wrapped her hands around Zayba's torso.

He smiled with his right palm on his chest "go on."

Zayba in the other hand, stood still and looked lost.

"Sis!" Hibba screamed.

"This guy is gor-ge-ous." She took her time to pronounce 'gorgeous' breaking it into syllables.

"Oh come on, he's just another random guy."

"Why didn't you tell me about him." She rubbed Zayba's shoulder as she spoke.

"He's nothing serious you know."

"You never know my dear.", she let out a laugh and dragged her sister by her right hand to the car.

Zayba sat in the passengers seat in the back, and was mute all through the drive, but hibba laughed and chatted so well with him, as if to have known him for long. They seem to get along.

Zayba couldn't help but feel a little jealous towards them, but she rubbed it off her mind, insinuating it was the devil and one of his tricks again.

As soon as they got home " Zayba said a not so loud thank you and went straight in, but Hibba stayed a little longer, with him chatting and laughing about what only them knew.

Why will she get this free with someone she just met. Zayba thought.

The moment Hibba got into the house she began to speak like her battery was fully charged "hey girl, why didn't you tell me about him?"

"He's nothing important."

"Whaaat! all I see is your future together, he's got looks, got money, charismatic, gentle, with great sense of humor.

"Tell me if he isn't the man you've dreamt of."

"Of course he is, but I just can't jump into love with him, when there are a thousand of men of same figure and status."

"This guy is different, did you see his black sujud spot? He is a good Muslim by mere look."

"Oh please, it doesn't lay in the eyes."

"I know, but I know what I'm talking about and you know that too."

"I'm going to tell Mama about it and he's taking us out tomorrow."

"Good for you."

"You're going too my dear that new eatery in kaduna is a banger, 'cafe le Bugatti' babe!"

"Look my head is pounding right now , I need silence please."

"Alright, talk to you later then."

Zayba heaved a sigh as Hibba got out of sight.

She thought about the guy and everything they've talked about , he's cool and everything I'll love but I need to take my time, before I make a mistake that will keep hurting me for the rest of my life.

It was hot and serene on a Saturday afternoon, at exactly twelve noon the sun was at the horizon, Zayba had a single horn from a car outside and she freaked out, smeared her red lipstick on her nose, and had to wipe off her make up entirely, she was too nervous with shaky hands to have another makeup on, her face glowed even without makeup.

As a light skinned, she wore a blue lace gown covered with white stones well tailored as it hugs her hot self, she was fire, the whole dress coupled with a five inched heeled Vinci shoes in black, and a white veil that have refused to cover her curves up, as much as she tried.

Hibba and her skinny body, was in a black abaya, it looked like four girls of her stature will fit in there, she wore pink lipstick, and her mascara made her eye lashes point to the sky.

Hibba dragged Zayba as they went straight to the car.

"Good afternoon." They chorused.

"Good after gorgeous." He said as he smiled at Hibba.

Hibba blushed, her cheeks were almost red, thank God for melanin.

Zayba on the other hand was trying to pull the door open, when he said, "I would gladly do that, your majesty." He spoke humbly, with no hint of sarcasm.
