"How are you feeling now?" He asked.

"I'm having a slight headache and my body is weak I feel like I'll throw up any time soon."

"Ya ilahee! I knew going to this Enugu wasn't a good idea, but you wouldn't listen, now see what you're going through."

"Baby, calm down please, I'll get better before you know it."

"Faisal, pass me the car keys, call jhonny let's meet up at the exit." He said on the other hand.

"Don't hang up yet, what did the doctor say was wrong with you again?"

"I'm still waiting for the test result."

"Okay, I'll be with you soon, you should rest have a nap or something."

"What should I get you ? Do you want to eat anything?"

"Yes please come along with goruba (Doum palm, AKA hard nut, botanically Hyphaene thebaica, )."

"Of all things zayba?"

The woman let out a prolonged high pitched cry, she whined on the other side and then he said "okay, fine I'll pass through kasuwa to see if I'll get some."

She let out a happy laugh and said "I love you, and see you soon."

"Love you more, please stay alive until I get there."

"No one said I was going to die, calm your nerves down Mr."

"Okay, not soon Insha Allah, hundred years of togetherness insha Allah."

"Insha Allah." The woman laughed as she spoke.

He hanged the phone up as they drove in a pace down to kano airport.

With a click on the door, the petite nurse returned with a tray of drugs and injections and behind her was a light skinned man who looks like he's in his forties and is quite large framed.

"Hello beautiful." the man greeted.

Seems like the people there had a thing for compliment, cause normally she forgets about her beauty but here she has been reminded severally.

"Hello sir."

"My name is Doctor Chinebere, you can call me Doctor chi."

Zayba gave a head nod and a small smile.

"If I may ask ma are you married?"

"I don't get it, what's the relationship between a test result and marriage?"

"I'm sorry to improvise but it's important that we know to continue our job."

"Okay, I've been married for a year plus now."

"Well congratulations ma, how do we get to your husband."

"He'd be here anytime soon sir."

"Good, do you suggest we wait for him before breaking the news or we should just go ahead."

"Doc. Is it bad news?"

"It's good news, very good news."

"Okay then let's wait for him."

"As you say, the nurse will administer some drugs and injections to you to keep you steady for the time being."

"Okay."

He quickly checked the tube containing normal saline passing through her veins and accelerated its movement, before saying

"I'll be in my office." He said to Zayba.

And then turned to the nurse and says "once the husband arrives you should let me know."

"Yes Doc." The petit woman answered as she collects a fluid from a bottle to the syringe in her hand.

"Oh God I hate injections, can't I just take the drugs ?"

"No ma, the injections where prescribed too."

Zayba gave another head nod, her eyes quickly kissed themselves in an attempt to stay strong for the injections.

She let out a small scream as she took a handful of the white bedsheet she was laying on.

"Sorry ma, you'll feel much better." Said the nurse.

"Thank you." She replied, she quickly texted Fuad the address, after which she relaxed her body on the hard pillow before passing out.

"how's she feeling now Doc." Fuad had asked.

"Better, she'll be better when she wakes up?"

"And how long will That take?"

"About an hour or two, she was injected with a fast action anagelsic that will increase her strength once she's awake, I think she's been too stressed out for her condition."

"Condition? What condition." Both Zayba and Fuad spoke at once.

"Baby, I'm glad you're finally awake, how are you feeling now?"

"I'm fine baby, how was your journey?" She said as she tried to pull herself up to sit.

"Wait please, don't stress yourself, let me lift you up."

"But I'm fine baby."

"Yes you're , but I insist."

"So what condition did you say?" Fuad asked the Doctor.
