Stuck In High School with One Direction

Chapter Twelve

"I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR!" Maddie bursts into my room, launching herself onto my bed.

"You must be struggling," 

It was Friday afternoon and we had to start getting ready to go to the party.

"How about-" 

"Leave my closet alone." I throw a pillow at her. She closes my cupboard door and sighs before dropping to the floor. 

"Because I already picked out an outfit because I knew you were going to do this." I throw a leather mini skirt, a matching top and a pair of strappy heels.

"Do you know how much I love you right now?" She hugs me tightly, jumping up and down. 

"RILEY TUS AMIGOS ESTÁN AQUÍ," (Riley, your friends are here) I hear my mom call. "Go on up, dears, they are in the room."

"Hey guys," the girls walk in.

"It's been so long seeing your mom." Diana smiles, sitting down next to me.

"They're leaving in two weeks, so enjoy it while you can."

"I don't understand why they travel so much."

"They meet with a lot of clients across the world. Something about pitching ideas or getting investments. I don't really listen."

Georgia throws her bag on my bed.

"We just shoved our clothes in Georgia's bag." Diana explains.

"Well, we have to be there at 8. Which means we have 4 hours."

"IT"S JUST NOT ENOUGH TIME." Maddie gasps. We all laugh.

We watched Modern family and cuddled with Astrid until we had an hour left to get ready.

I put slipped on a strappy black tight fitting dress that ended mid thigh and my black block heel platform boots. I did my makeup, light foundation, eyeliner, lashes and slightly dark red lipstick. I left my hair loose, slightly wavy.

"Well, I'm all done." I throw stuff I'll need into a black shoulder bag. 

"Who's driving?"

"Me," Diana raises her hand before pulling her keys out of her bag. "I'm not drinking tonight."

"Me neither," Georgia puts her arm around Diana and we make our way downstairs.

"A dónde vas con un vestido tan corto?" (Where are you going with such a short dress?) My mom asks, eyeing me up and down.

"It's not that short," I spin for her. She cracks a smile.

"You all look beautiful, just be safe okay? If anything happens at all, you can call anytime." 

"Yes mama. I fed Astrid already." 

"If you're not home tomorrow morning I will feed him. Just tell me if you're staying out please."

"I will mama,"

"Now, go before I change my mind." She laughs and I kiss her cheek.

"This is so cool," Olivia gasps, looking at the mansion in front of us.

"Looks like most of the school is here."

"Let's go get a drink!" I shout and we go inside.

"Ladies!"

"Hi Sam," We greet.

"What will you guys be having?"

"A tequila and coke please,"

Sam hands us our drinks, I take a sip.
