It was finally the day of prom. Finals had been brutal but I think I did alright. Enough to graduate hopefully, at least.
"Should I wear my hair up or down?" Maddie questions, gathering her hair on the top of her head and analyzing herself in my mirror.
"Definitely up, it'll look so good." I paused from putting eyeshadow on my eyelid to watch her style her hair. "Just like that!"
"I agree, it looks amazing this way."
Maddie and I were sat on the floor of my bedroom infront of my full length mirror. We had decided to get ready at my house and pick up the girls after. Liam was in charge of picking up the boys and we'd all meet up at a restaurant to have something to eat before. We had decided to go to prom as a group instead of having dates because it'll be more fun that way.
I finished up my makeup with glittery emerald eyeshadow and a subtle red lip. Maddie watches as I carefully drawing on my eyeliner.
"You're so good at that it makes me jealous." She huffs. I giggle. Eyeliner was a little bit of a talent for me. I never have a bad eyeliner day, and very rarely get it wrong on my first try.
"It's so easy once you get the hang of it." I move on to styling my hair, choosing to leave it down.
Maddie and I quickly change into our dresses and shoes before sending the group a text that we were leaving to fetch the girls.
Maddie grabbed both of our duffel bags and took it downstairs to the car while I took a spare set of my house keys to my neighbors. I had asked them to look after Astrid while I was gone.
We drove to pick up the girls, all of them looking absolutely stunning. They loaded their bags into the car and we let the boys know we were on the way to the restaurant already.
"I'm so excited for prom!" Olivia says, throwing her arm over Diana.
"She's had three shots already." Georgia whispers, poking Olivia's arm.
"I just love you guys!" She exclaims, throwing her hands on the air.
"Someone didn't eat before those shots hmmm," I giggle. Olivia was a lightweight even if she ate before.
When we got to the restaurant the boys were already standing outside their car, looking really handsome in their suits.
Olivia immediately runs over to Liam, nearly tripping in her heels, and wraps her arms around his neck. He puts his hands on her waist to steady her and laughs as she kisses his cheek.
"three shots of vodka. three." Georgia sighs, and the boys all laugh.
"Hi handsome," I greet Niall. "Sorry it's not as great of a greeting as Olivia's but I am unfortunately sober." I laugh, placing a gentle kiss on his mouth.
"This dress is an amazing greeting all on its own." He kisses my forehead and tucks my hair behind my ear. I blush and turn to greet the other boys.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I know we all look amazing right now but I am starving and Olivia definitely needs food in her system so, shall we?" Diana says once we've all greeted one another.
"We shall!" Niall slips his hand into mine and we walk into the restaurant.
We get a booth and it's a little bit of a tight squeeze but no one seems to mind. We all just order burgers and milkshakes, except for Olivia who orders a pizza.
"Pizza is delicious, okay, I need pepperoni."
We take our time eating, just chatting and enjoying one another's company. Eventually we pay for our meals and were just about to leave when we heard a voice.
