"Riley! Come on we have to go!"
I groaned as I zipped up my suitcase.
"Alright alright!" I rolled my eyes, laughing and grabbed my backpack. She grabbed her bags and stuck her tongue out at me.
"Everyone's waiting outside." She said, blowing strands of her blonde hair out of her face.
"Relax. We'll still be on time, early infact, and it's not like the bus is going to leave without us." I said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Besides, we would've been up earlier if we didn't decide to drink until 3am!"
"Yeah I can't wait to nap," Maddie sighed. "My head is killing me"
We stepped outside and was greeted by our three hungover best friends. Olivia, Diana and Georgia.
"Finally! What took you so long?" Olivia questioned as we all piled our belongings into my Jeep.
"It doesn't matter who, Riley, took forever to pack." Maddie threw her arm over my shoulder. "What matters is that now we can be on our way!" She slammed my boot shut and skipped over to the passenger door.
"I was just double checking I had everything!" I said, putting my hands on my hips.
"I so believe that." Olivia chimed in. "Riley would never leave packing to the last minute."
I gasped and turned to look at Olivia, pretend shock all over my face.
"I cant believe you think so little of me Olivia. I'm hurt."
"Okay okay, let's get going perhaps?" Diana said, opening all the doors.
"Yes ma'am!" Georgia salutes and then proceeds to grab Maddie and attempts to shove her in the car.
"Hey! Let go!"
I slid into the drivers seat laughing to myself.
"Alright guys, buckle up."
"And with the way Riley drives, you better believe her." Olivia clicks in her seatbelt, gripping onto it as if it was a lifeline.
"Oh come on guys it's not that bad."
"It is." They all respond.
"Would you all rather walk?" I turned to face them, narrowing my eyes. They all shook their heads before the rest of them buckled up.
"Good. That's what I thought." I smirked before starting the car. "Hold tight."
Our school had a fun trip planned. A camping trip. I'm not the biggest fan of camping, and I almost didn't go. But all my girls were, and I'd rather suffer while camping than be alone at home all weekend.
When we got to school, we grabbed our things and took it to our special place to chill. The library.
No one really came to the library. It was our favorite spot. It had tons of bean bag chairs and two comfortable couches. I stretched out lazily on the couch and Maddie curled up next to me.
"Perfect amount of time to sleep off a hangover" I laid my head on the arm rest of the couch.
"I cant wait to swim in the lake!" Georgia said, plopping down onto a beanbag.
"Ew, i wonder if there's any leeches in the lake." Diana plops down next to her, holding a book.
"You're seriously going to read?" Maddie laughs, stretching her legs over mine.
"Just you all take your naps, I'll be reading my book. Just don't come complaining to me when it's time to leave and none of you can nap on the bus because I will be sleeping!"
