Stuck In High School with One Direction

Chapter Nine

It was 3am when my alarm went off. I rubbed my eyes sleepily before nudging Maddie awake.

"It's way too early for this, why did we agree to this." She mumbles, burying her head in the pillow.

"I tried to tell you, but noooo," I do a little dance with my arms. "It's Friday!"

"Well it's Saturday now and I'm over it." she groans.

"Come on sleepyhead, it's time to get up."

I jump into a shower and afterwards get changed into black tights and a black sports bra. I lace up my air forces, and tie my hair up in a ponytail.

"I'm going to go see if the other girls are awake." I drag Maddie out of bed. "You go shower."

I go next door and knock on the door. Diana opens it, Georgia and Olivia sprawled on the floor.

"I just pulled them out of bed."

"Huh, I just pulled Maddie out of bed."

"Lets go get everyone breakfast."

"Breakfast?" Olivia lifts her head up.

"Shower."

"Fine."

Anybody up and showered to go buy some breakfast?

Me
Meet us downstairs

"Goodmorning girls!" Liam greets us both with a hug. I pull my hoodie on and hug Zayn too.

"McDonald's should be open."

"Will they serve us breakfast?"

"At this time, they serve whatever the hell they want." I laugh, getting into my car.

We drive off to McDonald's. Diana and I order what the girls and I usually get and Liam and Zayn orders what the boys usually get.

"I hope they're up and ready," I sigh, munching on a few fries.

We get back and grab all the bags of food and drinks.

"We'll see you guys at 4, 20 minutes should be enough to eat." Liam shrugs.

"I know you stole my fries" Zayn glares at me, staring down at his half full fry packet.

"Here," I put some of Diana's fries into his bag. "Diana isn't a big fan of fast food anyway."

Zayn blows me a kiss and follows Liam.

"We brought food." I hear Diana say as I follow her into the room. Everyone was showered and dressed so we handed out the food.

"Eat up, we're leaving at 4."

"I'm on it," Georgia gasps before wolfing down her food.

"Maybe not that fast, we dont want you to die before we even get on the trail." Diana chuckles, stroking Georgia's hair. Georgia shrugs, and eats abit slower.

Niall
downstairs, 5 minutes, we're walking

Diana
how far is the mountain from here

Louis
about a 10 minute walk

Me
10 minutes??? :0

Harry
consider it a warmup for the actual hiking

Zayn
it's disgusting, I told them we can just take the cars

Diana
what if we're too tired to walk back

Niall
then we'll drag you

Me
ugh, this is torture

Liam
you guys are the ones who agreed to come with us

Olivia
shut up

We made our way outside and began our walk, chattering away.

"I don't know, why - I agreed to this!" Georgia huffed, trying to catch her breath.

"Honestly, didnt think you would." Liam said, walking with no problem whatsover. Seriously, did these boys have some kind of superhuman powers?

"Lets rest!" Maddie yelled, flopping onto a big rock. "Ouch."

"We're almost at the top, come on." Zayn said. "Just up over this rock."

We grudgingly climbed over the rock, only to he met by a gorgeous view.

"This was, absolutely not- worth it." Olivia sighs, sitting down on the ground.

"Guys come on, the sun is about to rise."

We all sat down and watched the sun rise.

"This is beautiful and all, but I could have watched this from the hotel room." I throw my hands up in the air, taking a large gulp of water from my water bottle.

"Yeah, but the view, the birds, the nature!" Harry says, pointing at the sun. "It's breathtaking."

I sigh and nod my head.

"You're right."

We sat in silence for abit, just watching the sun. Well not really watching it as that would melt our eyeballs, but we were looking in its general direction. I lay my head on Niall's shoulder and he puts his arm around me.

"Proper breakfast anyone?" Harry claps his hands, getting up quickly.

"Oh definitely!" Niall takes his arm off from me and gets up quickly. I nearly fall to the side.

"Hey!"

"Whoops," Niall chuckles, helping me up.

"You better hope I dont eat any of you before we get back down there." Maddie narrows her eyes. "Starting with you Louis."

"What did I do?"

"You're the one who asked us on this stupid hike."

"Okay, let's get you fed before you bite his head off." Diana takes Maddie's hand and we make our way down.

"I feel so much better." I sigh, stepping into the room in a robe. "That shower is magical. magical I tell you!" I throw myself down onto the bed.

"I know." Maddie says, brushing through her hair. "It's like a million water droplet people are all scrubbing you clean with individual bars of soap."

"What a great way to describe it." I get dressed in a shorts, white tanktop and my platform doc martens. 

We meet everybody downstairs and head to the restaurant to get breakfast.

We all order waffles and pancakes and when it comes we immediately dig in.

"This is the best pancake I've had in a really long time." Zayn says and Olivia agrees with him, shoving pancake in her mouth.

Once we were finished we all let out a sigh and slouched back in our chairs.

"We should do this again sometime." Harry smiles around at the table.

"Without the hiking next time?" Georgia pouts at Liam.

"But that's the fun part!"

I drop everyone at home and when I get to mine, I immediately run upstairs and climb into bed. Hikes are definitely not for me.
