Stuck In High School with One Direction

Chapter Two

After we all introduced ourselves properly, we went exploring for things that could be useful.

"Let's see what we can have for lunch!" Niall grinned, taking the lead to the kitchen.

"I second that!" I said, jogging infront of him. We gathered in the kitchen and went straight to the freezer.

"The freezer is on which means the electricity should still be on too." Liam observed.

"Thank goodness, we'll have lights." Diana sighed, that was obviously something she was worried about.

"So who wants pizza for tonight?" Niall was holding a whole stack of frozen pizzas.

"I vote we all get one pizza," Maddie turned on the two ovens. We all agreed as Zayn found more cheese to sprinkle on the pizzas.

"That smells delicious," Harry groaned as the cheesy pizzas bubbled. We took out our lunch and we all gathered in the cafeteria.

"Well I mean, I guess we should sit together?" Georgia glanced around the cafeteria nervously. We don't usually sit in the cafeteria, and when we do we have a table in the far corner. These boys sit in the center of the cafeteria.

The weird thing about this is, you know when you have an assigned seat that you just automatically go to and if you sit anywhere else it just feels weird? Yeah, that. The boys made their way to their table, and we awkwardly followed.

We ate in silence at first, it wasn't exactly awkward but it wasn't the most comfortable silence either.

"Hey, we should go take a swim after this!" Louis suggested, a mischievous smile on his face. Seriously, does he not have any other facial expressions? He always looks like he's about to cause trouble.

"That's a great idea, but the pool is locked." Olivia sighed, stuffing a huge bite of pizza in her mouth.

"I have an idea," I smirked.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Georgia frantically whispered. I shrugged.

"I said I had an idea, I never said it was good." I giggled.

"I like this girl," Louis said, following close behind me.

"What if the alarm goes off? Last time we tried to break into the pool, the alarm went off. Remember?" Liam was obviously speaking to the boys. I remembered that day. See our principal was very protective of who was allowed in the pool. We could only get in with a teacher around and at designated times. You had to be really special to be able to take a dip if you had a free period.

It made no sense, who would want to go swimming between classes?

"You guys didn't have the code," I grinned. We had arrived at the pool. The principal had a metal cover installed that only pulls back if the right code was entered.

"Oh, and you do?" Zayn raised an eyebrow, but his eyes were confused.

"Not exactly, but we have 3 tries."

"Great, we're never swimming," Harry sighed, a small frown on his face.

"This should be easy," Maddie punched in a few numbers. Wrong.

"What did you type in?" I questioned.

"I'm not sure."

"Maybe it's something simple, like his birthday." Diana stepped forward and typed in a number. "Don't ask me how I know the principals birthday"

The metal closure slowly peeled back.

"Well I guess it pays off to be one of the principals favorites," I patted her on the back.

"Let's go change,"

"So this is really happening? We're stuck in school and we're totally fine with it?" Diana questioned, pulling up her blue bikini bottom. "We're even going swimming?"

Trust her to be the voice of reason.

"Apparently." I shrugged, tying my hot pink bikini top. I gathered my long brown hair and tied it up in a ponytail.

"Don't forget we're going swimming with 5 of the hottest guys in school," Maddie squealed, stepping out of the stall in a green bikini.

"What are the odds that they'd get stuck in here with us?" Georgia shook her head, swinging her legs while sitting on a sink already in her black bikini.

"I have no idea what the odds are, all I know is that I'm glad I'm here instead of on that stupid camp. Did nobody think to tell us there would be no signal?" Olivia fumed, tying her red bikini top angrily. "Ow!" she exclaimed when she pulled it too tight. We all laughed.

"Well, let's go!" we picked up our towels, and put our suitcases back in the library. When we got to the pool the boys were already splashing around.

"Started without us I see." Maddie teased as I immediately jumped into the water. They followed.

We splashed around until the sun went down. It's an indoor pool but we could tell by how dark it was getting.

"We should go switch on some lights, before it gets too dark." Diana suggested, shivering slightly as she got out of the pool.

"Seems like it's going to be chilly tonight," Niall hugs himself as he got out too.

"We should get the extra blankets from the nurses office." I pulled myself out of the pool, the cold air raised goosebumps on my skin. I immediately wrapped myself in my towel, drying off as quickly as possible.

"Let's go," Louis led us to the office where we each grabbed pillows and blankets. We shuffled back to the library, Zayn, Louis and Liam were dragging the three mattresses that were in the office. We all took out our own blankets and pillows from our suitcases and added them to the blankets and pillows we took from the nurses office.

"Let's go get changed," I grabbed my suitcase and the girls and I went to the bathroom. I changed into my favorite blue oversized shirt, and slipped on black pyjamas shorts for the sake of the boys. Olivia had her grey silk night gown that flowed down to her knees. Diana pulled on her striped pyjama shirt with black boxers underneath while Georgia slipped into long pyjama pants and and a tight fitting tank top. Maddie strutted out in pyjama shorts and a sports bra.

Our hair was curly from the swimming so we all tied it up into messy buns.

I checked my phone, 9pm. We went back to the library.

"Hey, the projector is still here, Riley did you bring your laptop?" Olivia said. I nodded and got it out of my suitcase.

While everyone set up for us to sleep, Olivia and I connected my laptop to the projector so that we could watch a movie.

"Alright guys, let's get comfortable."

Olivia and Diana cozied up on one of the couches while Georgia curled up on a beanbag next to Niall and Liam who settled down on their own beanbags. Zayn spread out on the other couch. Harry and Louis occupied two of the mattresses and Maddie spread out on her beanbag chair. I pressed play on the movie we were going to watch, What To Expect When You're Expecting, and then made myself comfortable on the mattress next to Harry's.

It was almost midnight when we all slowly drifted off into sleep.
