Chapter Thirteen

"I think I need to slow down with eating McDonald's." I laugh, chewing on fry.

"You can never have too much McDonald's." Niall rolls his eyes.

"I beg to differ." I sigh, patting my stomach.

"This place is beautiful." He says, looking at the sparkling city lights.

"And we didn't have to hike up a mountain to see it." I joke, shoving his arm.

"Oh shut up," He chuckles, sipping on his milkshake.

"So you're in a band huh?"

"Well, kind of." He smiles, glancing at me.

"Why didn't you tell us?"

"It's didn't seem like the right time." He sighed. "Besides, it's not that serious."

"Hey, it's getting hot in here, let's stand outside." I suggest, already climbing out the car.

I sit on the hood of the car, and he leaned against the car, we sipped on our milkshakes.

"Oh no way!" Niall exclaims, staring at his phone in disbelief.

"What?"

"Someone uploaded a video of our song and it has over 100 000 views!" He holds out his phone for me to see.

"Oh shit! Niall that's amazing!" I hop up, giving him hug. "Oh wow, I can't believe it!"

"The comments look positive too!" He scrolls. "They love us!"

"This is so cool!" I giggle, looking through the comments with him.

"Come on, we're going to meet the boys." He gets into the car.

"Guess I needed to bring my swim things anyway." I laugh.

"Should we stop at your place first to get your things?"

"If you don't mind?"

"Of course."

We pull up my driveway.

"You go, I'll take my car and meet you there." I smile. "And thank you for the lovely evening."

"No problem, I'll see you in a little bit." He drives off and I hurry inside.

"Hey mama, Voy a una fiesta en la piscina con Maddie y las chicas, está bien?" (im going to a pool party with maddie and the girls, is that alright?)

"Riley, esperábamos pasar tiempo contigo durante el fin de semana, querida." (Riley we were hoping to spend time with you during the weekend my dear)

"I know mama, but please I promise I'll be home tomorrow, we can have lunch."

"bien, puedes irte, dormirás allí?" (fine, you can go. Will you be sleeping there?)

"I'm not sure but I'm taking my car."

"Well I'll just assume you're sleeping there. Don't be home too late tomorrow, lunch will be at one. Be safe, por favor." (please)

"I will mama I promise, thank you." I hug her and rush upstairs. I put on my bikini and throw on shorts and a baggy tshirt. I pack a bag and throw in pyjamas just in case and other things I might need. I feed Astrid and give him a kiss on his forehead.
