As the siblings walked into the deck, Grace gasped and ran to the side of the ship.
"Are we on a FLOATING SHIP?!"
"Uh yeah?" "THAT IS SO COOL!"
Cole dragged her away from the edge and into the bridge, where they were greeted by a chorus of hellos.
"Hey, looks who's up!" Jay exclaimed. "I'm Jay." "I'm Grace."
The others stepped up to introduce themselves.
"I'm Kai."
"Greetings. I am Zane."
"Hi! I'm Nya!"
"And you've already met Jay," Cole said.
"Uh huh." Grace eyes him suspiciously.
"You haven't told me how I got here or why you guys are dressed like ninjas!"
Jay walked up to Cole. "You haven't told her?"
Cole sighed. "I was getting to that."
"Tell me what?" Grace asked.
"Uh well, I am a ninja. And so are they." He pointed to the others.
"Wait, really? You're not kidding?" Grace jumped up and down excitedly. "This is so cool! My brother is one of the ninja!"
"That's not all," Jay announced. "We also have this. NINJA-GO!"
As he said this, he spun into a blue lightning tornado. Grace yelped in surprise. "Whoa! What is that?"
"That would be Spinjitsu," Cole replied proudly. "An art our Sensei taught us."
"Really?" Grace asked. "Cause, you didn't introduce me to any Sensei."
Kai cleared his throat. "Yeah, he's out on a uh, errand. We don't know when he'll be back."
"Oh by the way," Coke started. "Mind telling us exactly what you were doing in the snake tombs? You should have been in school."
Grace her hand up in defense. "Hey, for once, this wasn't my fault. In fact I don't think I fully remember what happened."
*Flashback*
Grace was hurrying across the courtyard. She had forgotten her books and was trying to get there before the bell rang. All of a sudden the ground rumbled around her. She stopped and looked at the ground around her. Something was down there. Something big. A crack was forming and advancing towards her. She dropped her books and scooted back, crying out in fright. Suddenly a figure burst out of the ground and grabbed her. She turned to see it was a large snake human hybrid... thing with yellow and grey scales. Grace didn't even have time to scream as it pulled her underground.
*End of Flashback*
Grace shivered as she recalled the earlier event. "It was one of the scariest things that happened in my life. I'm just glad I got out of there!"
