I jolt awake swear drips down my forehead and onto my nose. panting I wipe it away and attempt to take deep breathes trying to calm my self. It was just a dream it was just a dream I chant to myself over and over pinching my arm just to make sure. Looking around I see Axel asleep on an air mattress he must have blown up during the night. for some reason both my arms are sore and so isnt the rest of my body. I rub at my eyes trying to push the sleep that is left in them away. Slowly i swing my legs over the side of the bed letting a rush of cold air hit me, goosebumps form all the way up my bare legs. I push myself up careful not to wake Axel up. Even though I was careful he still stirred awake.
"Don't think your leaving just yet kitten," he murres dreamily he throws his lone blanket off his half naked body causing my breath to hitch. The sight of him half naked makes my mouth water,
"See something you like princess," he smirks and roll my eyes,
"All I can see is a mountain of fat" i remark. He glares at me and I laugh as I move I can hear my bones crack uncomfortably. Axel jumps up and rushes over to me.
"Are you okay does anything hurt?" He asks quickly with a panicked look in his eyes. I just roll my eyes just cause a few bones crack isn't the end of the world.
"Look I really need to get home my parents are expecting me and i don't want to over stay my welcome." I know when I get home I'll get a special surprise and the one I got a few days ago has barely healed.
"We still need to have our chat" says Axel slowly. I nod and and he says, "there is something i need to tell you about your family and me."
"What could you possible know about my family that I don't know, and look it was real nice of you to get me and let me stay here but I really need to get home" I say annoyed cause what could he possible know about my family no one has ever been to my house or witnessed my mothers rath I made sure that.
"I know a lot more than you think, but before I tell you I need you be open minded before you jump to conclusions about any of this. you have to promise me you will do this," he says and I nod my head, "say it." he says again. sighing I promise to him that I will be open minded.

"Okay so this isn't easy to say but... well... im just gunna say it.... Im a werewolf. And so is you father he is the alpha of the nightshade I am next in line to be the alpha of one of the largest packs in the world the sea storm pack." he starts and I cut him off with my laughter "your kidding me right, I mean come on what am I five." I am laughing so hard I am alp most to the point of crying.
Axel looks at me so intensely i freeze, "I'm not joking and I'll prove it." He gets off the bed and takes the black sweat pants that hugged his legs perfectly. I gulp nervously and as axels muscles bulge an the veins in his arms stick out and begin to pulse. hair begins to grow on his arms and legs in an unhealthy manor. the bones in his arms and legs snap at awkward angles and in ways I didn't think we're possible his back then arches and and what I thought was Axel became an unknown creature and everything goes black, again.

When I wake up Axel stands before watching cautiously next to me. I can still see the hairy black giant wolf that stood before me only moments ago. "Wa..was.wasss that real was what just happened real?" I question still in shock. Axel comes over to me and sit on the bed, I jump away from him. "wh..what are you." i stammer.
Axel sighs and explains again how he is a werewolf and I am too and that when the full moon rises tonight on my 18 the birthday I will turn into the same beast as him and I will be able to find my mate when I change. and Axel seems to think that he is my mate and even though I don't believe him that I am like him. it simply can not be I could never be something so interesting. He says I should trust him and that it will happen and when it does he will be there with me so that he will be the first person I will see and the person to show me how it goes. "I have to go home," I beg to him never mind school I guess that it is out of the question. "no" he says with a commanding tone "you can use some of my sisters clothes she is away in Paris with my parents in our base there, an you may use the shower here."
"But it's my birthday and my family is probably waiting for me," i plea
"If you really want to go home then I will be going with you. end of story take it or leave it." States Axel determinedly.
"Fine come with me, then," I say
"Fine," he says so we leave and i direct him to my house as we get closer I get more and more nervous I have never been away from home because of my mother i hope my brother or father kept her under control.
"Your heart," says Axel "its beating so fast." that's right Axel has super hearing. i shake my head brushing him off my eyes focus on on the door as we pull into my driveway. climbing out i walk with my head held high into the house and I run straight into my mother.
"Where have you been, sleeping over some guys house no doubt you little slut," she hisses at me the smell of vodka and other alcohols is apparent in her breath. and of course the idiot himself walks in silencing my my mother. she looks at me and smirk before stalking away shoving something in my hand. i quickly lead Axel up to my room and close the door and lock it tighly. throwing my self onto the bed I let out my breath that I had been holding the entire time in a big huff. I pull the covers high over my head and open the note it reads basement now for your birthday surprise or the little one will take over your position from now on. I let out a little whimper and get up "stay here I'll be back in ten okay." I tell Axel and leave before he can reply. i slowly go down the stairs and head straight for the basement. my hands are shaking so fiercely that I can barely open the door. eventually I do and I head back into my most dreaded and feared place. as soon as I make it down the last step and whip connects with my back and i shriek, I can feel the blood trickle down my back. I take hit after hit, my mother scream signs the happy birthday song. I don't know how long she whipped me for but I now that when Axel finally burst down the stairs my knees collapsed and I hear a piercing scream. Then a pair of strong arms carry me up the creaky old stairs my whole body is so numb I can't feel anything at all. "no," I whisper to axel, "take me back she will hurt him if I don't go back please," I beg I try punching and kicking him but I don't have the energy. Axels eyes have turned a black color and he places me in his car. I try to stay awake but it is so hard and I'm so tried, I can feel my eye lids start to drop and fall into a restless sleep.
