Kimberly's POV
We walk into the office and see Taylor and Kris at the front desk.
"Hey Karlie and hey Kim, what are you doing here, love?" Kris asks softly. I look up at Karlie and she speaks for both of us.
"For the, you know, family reunion thing," Karlie says.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. Hey Kim, you can go and hang out with Taylor out in the back office room, if you want," Kris suggests.
I nod and she smiles. I walk over to Taylor and she grabs my hand and we walk back to the furthest exam room office.
"So I'm not getting a checkup right?" I ask curiously.
"Yes Kim, you had your checkup and cleaning last month and we don't see the point of doing another one way too early for you," Taylor says softly.
"Okay," I say with relief.
Taylor giggles and strokes my hair. I help Taylor set up a Christmas tree in the corner of the room and set up the lights and balls on the tree.
Karlie's POV
Kris and I wait up at the front desk for the others to come to the office. Then after a few moments, we see Kariann and Mum outside.
"Hey guys," Kris says before I'm able to say it.
"Hey Karlie and Kris, where's Kim?" Mum asks curiously.
"Oh she's in the back exam office with Taylor, doing stuff," I say.
"Ah alright," Mum says. Mum goes behind and to the room. Kari stays up with Kris and me and we talk for a while before the others start arriving. Our aunts and cousins arrive, soon after Mum and Kariann arrived. And the little ones start running around the reception area and some of them hide behind each other.
"I'm so sorry girls, I didn't expect them to act like this," our aunt Cleo says.
"It's alright, we can take care of this," I say.
"What order do you want to do them," Cleo asks?
"We can do age; oldest to youngest," Kariann suggests.
"Good idea," we say. Then, I notice my 17-year-old cousin, Sylvie tense up as she's the oldest one.
