Tina's POV
My nerves are already on a tipping point. But when I hear the dental drill start spinning from an exam room, I nervously jump and my older cousin, Kristine comes over next to me.
"Hey Tina, it's alright. I promise nothing bad is going to happen to you. Karlie won't hurt you I promise," Kristine says encouragingly.
"You promise," I say nervously.
"Yes, I promise hun, how about I come with you. Would you like that?" Kristine asks softly, to which I nod my head.
Then, the door opens and my older sister, Sylvie comes out. Kristine and I start walking down a small corridor and towards an exam room. We walk into the exam room and we see Karlie get her mask and gloves on.
"Hey Tina, come and sit down love," Karlie says encouragingly, patting the chair.
I nervously nod and we walk over and I sit down on the chair. Karlie gets a bib around my neck and I nervously lay back.
Kristine holds my hands in hers meanwhile Karlie picks up her mirror and explorer and moves them closer to my mouth.
"Open wide for me hun," Karlie says encouragingly. I nervously open my mouth and Karlie quickly checks my teeth, before brushing my teeth with the polisher.
"See that was quick, good job hun," Karlie says encouragingly, taking her tools out of my mouth and taking off her mask and gloves.
"Thank you," I say.
"No problem sweetie," Karlie says softly.
