Kimberly's POV
Then, I hear a knock on the door, I open it and see Mum.
"Hey Kimberly, you got everything sorted?" Mum asks softly, coming into the room.
"Yeah, I got everything sorted. So did Karlie just say 'can I have ownership over Kim please' then leave?" I ask curiously?
"Something like that. I agreed to it. Since I liked the idea. But her dad was completely against the idea and tried to take it to court. The court's judgement was to let Karlie have ownership over you. And her dad or your dad as well tried to take you away from Karlie. And got himself arrested for life," Mum says softly.
"Oh," I say.
"Yeah," Mum says, sitting down on my bed next to me. Then, Mum's phone rings.
"Hello," Mum says, picking it up.
"Oh okay, I'll be right there," Mum says. Mum puts her phone down after a brief conversation.
"Sorry, hun, I've gotta out for work this afternoon. But I'll be back for dinner," Mum says softly.
"Oh okay," I say. Mum kisses me on the forehead and leaves my room and house. So, I get up from my bed and leave my room to see Kris and Kari.
"Hey Kim, what's up hun," Kari asks softly?
