Kimberly's POV

"Oh no," I say nervously. Taylor sits down on the stool next to the chair and holds my hand.

"Hey Kim, I know you're scared. But don't worry hun, it'll be just like when you were 7," Taylor says softly.

"Don't patronize me, I was naive enough back then. I can't do it now," I say nervously with me practically begging not to be here at this point.

"I'm not patronizing you love. I'm generally trying to be nice and kind. I know you're afraid, but don't worry you're going to be alright. We're here for you," Taylor says encouragingly.

I nervously gulp. Karlie comes over and sits down on the stool behind me. She proceeds to lean the chair back, forcing me down onto my back. Oh no, this can't be happening. I closely watch Karlie as she puts a tray of tools on the table, turns on the light and gets her mask and gloves on. And she puts her loupes on as well and turns on the small flashlight.

"You know those glasses scare the hell out of me," I say nervously.

"I know hun," Karlie says softly, pulling her mask up. Today's already had a bad start. My attitude acted up and made me say something I shouldn't have said. And I had my maths test today, which I whiffed at. Anyway, Karlie picks up her mirror and explorer and motions them closer to my mouth.

"Open up wide for me Kim," Karlie says encouragingly. I open my mouth a little and I see a small smile behind Karlie's mask.

"Come on Kim, I know you can do better than that," Karlie says softly. I gulp, then nervously open my mouth wider and Karlie starts checking my teeth. I nervously sit there waiting as Karlie checks my teeth. Then, Karlie stops. I go to sit up but Karlie pulls me back down.

"Karlie," I whine nervously.
