Kimberly's POV

"Hey Kim, how are you, hun?" Mum asks softly?

"Good, Mum. What about you," I say, putting my book down.

"That's good to hear hun. I'm good as well," Mum says softly. Mum slides herself next to me at the end of the bed.

"What have you and the others been doing?" Mum asks softly?

"Nothing much. Kari cleaned my teeth," I say, showing her.

"Aww, that's sweet. Thanks, Kari," Mum says, shouting to the next room.

"No problem," we hear from Kari. I giggle and Mum smiles.

"Any loose teeth up in your little mouth," Mum says, tapping on my lips.

"Not sure," I say.

"Well, why don't we have a look," Mum says softly, helping me put my book down.

"I don't want to, really," I whine nervously.

"Aww sweetheart, it'll just be a quick check. Don't worry hun," Mum says encouragingly, helping me up from the bed. Then, we see Kris push her head out of the door of their room.

"What's going on," Kris asks softly?

"I'm just checking Kim to see if she has any loose baby teeth," Mum says softly.

"Oh okay, mind if I tag along for her," Kris says softly.

"Don't mind if you do. Might be beneficial to help her," Mum says softly, looking at me. I blush my cheeks red and look away.

Mum steps back and starts prepping some numbing gel and a needle. Kris and I stay seated next to each other as we wait. Then, Mum comes back over and places the needle down on the tray. We hear the needle noise of the needle clash against the sound of the metal tray and I look up and see Mum hovering above me with a q-tip with a numbing gel tip.
