A/n: Hello everybody! Today is September 26, 2021. Ok, now I know that technically I'm supposed to be on hiatus, BUT writing is a coping mechanism! And what do you do when you are in precarious mental health? D i s a s s o c i a t e.

"What do you mean 'you don't know?' How could you not know?" Loki demands.
Sensitivity, darling, Y/n scolds in her mind, glaring at Loki, who scoffs and looks around, rubbing his thighs nervously.
"Well, I was-I was going to introduce...my girlfriend, Kamala Khan to you guys when, when the TVA showed up. They-they pruned Kam in front of me and reset you before you could say anything. They arrested me, but I escaped from them. I-I always thought my Nexus event was that I was never supposed to love another woman!" Sylvie sobs, collapsing onto their knees as their entire body wracks with sobs.
"But now I can't see that can't be it because Mum even loves Dad when they're a woman! So now I don't even know why I'm displaced or-or if my plan was just so messed up by me falling in love with her!" They continue, a weepy, blubbering mess.
Sylvie sits up with a gasp, wiping her tears as they try to compose themself. Y/n and Loki watch them closely, their faces contorted with a guilty pain. "I-I was just a child. I was 19 and had just graduated from Midtown High school with Uncle Tony's daughter, Morgan, and Kamala. It was taken away from me. All of it."
Did they just say 'Uncle Tony?' Loki thinks.
Is that seriously what you are focusing on when your daughter is confessing to you?? Y/n shoots back, eyes blown wide.
I DON'T KNOW-WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?
COMFORT YOUR CHILD, LOKI!
"I escaped. Stole a TemPad and I ran for a long, long time, which really sucked. Everywhere and every-when I went, it caused a nexus event. Sent up a smoke flare. Because I'm not supposed to exist. Until, eventually, I figured out where to hide. And so that's where I grew up, the ends of a thousand worlds," Sylvie says, their voice softening. "Now... that's where I'll die."
Sylvie turns to Loki inquisitevely. "Do you think that what makes a Loki a Loki is the fact that we're destined to lose? I mean, as Sylvie Lokidottir, it seems to apply to me, too.
"No," Loki says softly. "We may lose. Sometimes painfully. But we don't die. We survive. I mean, you did. You were just a child when the TVA took you from us, but you nearly took down the organization that claims to govern the order of time. You did it on your own. You ran rings around them. You're amazing!"
He reaches over and grasps Sylvie's hand with a small smile. A chill shoots down everyone's spines. Y/n grabs Sylvie's other hand, furrowing her eyebrows with a watery smile. Suddenly, an orange glow encases them.
Their heads snap around as they see a band of TVA agents. "No," Y/n breathes, shooting up and standing in front of Loki and Sylvie protectively, holding up her hands as a yellow glow encases them.
Before she can prepare a blast of magic, a sharp slap to her neck interuppts her. Whipping around, she sees B-15 behind her, holding a TemPad linked to her newly placed collar. MinuteMen seize everyone, dragging them through the Time Door and back into the TVA.
Y/n and Loki spot Mobius, her lip curling instinctively. "Well?" He asks to her.
"Well, what?" She spits.
"I know you got some quip you're dyin' to say," he chuckles, jogging along with them.
"I don't have a quip. I've got nothing to say," she growls, trying to crane her neck to see Sylvie, ushered in front of her and thrown into their own auditorium.
