A/n: Hello everybody! Today is November 5, 2021. I've, uh, kinda hit that area just below rock bottom. Not rock bottom yet, so whoo! But, uh, right there. You can check my message board for more info on it.

"You really don't remember him?" Classic asks Mobius. Mobius, Classic, Kid, and Croki are all huddled around a fire in the small run-down house, chatting merrily.

"I mean, the TVA arrested a lot of Lokis, but, no, I don't remember an alligator," Mobius says, glancing at Croki. "I mean, who's to say he's even a Loki Variant?"

"He is green, isn't he?" Classic suggests.

"I don't know, he could be lying," Mobius shrugs with a little laugh.

"The long con," Classic nods knowlingly.

"Of course, that just makes him more likely to be a Loki. It's always the game within the game with you guys, which I respect," Mobius says with a small smile.

"Mobius, assuming you do get back to the TVA, what exactly are you getting yourself into?" Kid asks earnestly.

He ponders this for a moment. "I don't know. I'd like to let people know the truth."

"So just like that, you're turning on the very thing you devoted your life to?" Kid asks.

"Well, it's never too late to change," Mobius says positively, glancing out the window.

Y/n, Loki, and Sylvie all sit on the hill together, overlooking the waste of the Void. It had potential for something eerily beautiful, like the ghostly English countryside. "I hope they know what they're doing," Sylvie says peevishly, glancing over her shoulder and into the house as well.

"Mobius isn't so bad," Y/n says, ever so lightly scorning Sylvie. "Or so good. I think that's why we get along."

Loki says nothing, instead staring squarely ahead, jaw tight. Y/n nudges Sylvie with her shoulder. He cares about you, she thinks, projecting her thoughts into their head. Just prompt him, he'll catch on..eventually.

Sylvie's eyes widen at the voice but nods. They turn their head, staring at Loki. "It's cold," they state blankly, shivering a little.

Loki glances at Sylvie, humming. He holds his hand up, a thin greet blanket with a gold trim shimmering around him. Y/n raises her middle fingers over Sylvie's head, snapping her teeth at him in a silent bark. "I-I could conjure one for you, if you like," Loki offers nervously.

"You could conjure me a new outfit. You have no idea how uncomfortable something like this is," Sylvie winces, pulling at the collar of their armor. "So... Mobius and his theory about..."

"Right, right. About our nexus event," Loki adds on.

"Total rubbish, right?" Sylvie laughs nervously.

"Absolutely. Of course. I mean..."

"I don't mean that it wasn't a nice moment!"

"No, it was great. It was really nice."

"It just sounds like another TVA lie."

"A hundred percent. I mean, totally."

"Yeah." They both pause, avoiding each other's gaze as Y/n sits in complete disbelief.

"Great job; leave it to the mother to force the socially awkward children together," she groans, literally coming up behind them and smushing them together, magically extending Loki's blanket over Sylvie's shoulder.

"I don't know how to do this," Sylvie begins, stammering. "I don't even know what we're doing. I don't have friends. I haven't since I was arrested. I don't have... anyone. Kamala's gone and, well... there are more important things, right? Right?"
