A/n: Hello everybody! Today is November 21, 2021. When your life is an actual dumpster fire...kill yourself and then b-ah, that's a spoiler. Uh...kill yourself and ruin the entire timeline sequence.
Anna throws open the doors of the Sanctum, panting. A cold gust of icy air blows at them, ruffling their hair. The Sanctum is covered in ice and snow, everything coated over in a thin layer of frost. "Stephen?!" Anna shrieks, closing the doors behind them as they look around for him.
"Anna? Is that you?" A voice calls out. Wong appears at the landing of the stairs.
Anna beams up at him. "Wong, hi! Where have you been?"
"I just got back from visiting Shang-Chi; why?" He asks cautiously.
"Uh...where's Stephen?" Anna redirects wearily.
"Parlor..." Wong says suspiciously, pointing to the left of Anna, who smiles and rushes out, throwing a hasty "thank you" over their shoulder.
"Stephen!" They holler again, sliding through the doorway into what looks like Elsa's sitting room. Stephen is leaning against the fireplace in a sweatshirt, sweatpants, a puffy thermal jacket, and the Cloak of Levitation.
Also known as Cloakie.
He sips at his "Oh, for Fox's sake!" mug before spitting out whatever substance was in it into the fireplace at the sight of Anna, hastily putting the cup down and rushing over to them. "Bunny!" Stephen exclaims, hugging them tightly.
Anna hugs back before pulling away, brows knit in worry. "Hey, Daddy. We've got a situation."
"The Multiverse is broken; what else?" He shoots back, rolling his eyes.
"Rose is dead."
Stephen's eyes shoot straight up, hands beginning to shake in shock. "W-What?"
"Y/n and Loki's daughter from another timeline, Sylvie, murdered her," Anna exclaims. "But we need to get her back."
Stephen nods solemnly, slipping on his Sling Ring and whisking Anna away upstairs. "Get some peppermint oat milk and that smoky-pine-whisky candle as an offering," he directs them, pointing. Anna grabs the materials and places them together as Stephen begins drawing a pentagram around it, coating it with runes in between sections and at the apex of each peak.
"Stand on the other side," Stephen says, rolling his neck to prepare for the incantation. Anna cracks their knuckles, shaking out their arms. "Tu ad nos redi, cornea canis. Nihil adhuc cacas tibi ut puer sursum."
Anna glances at him. "How unorthodox of you, Master," they joke slyly.
Stephen opens one eye to glare at them, humming disprovingly. "Tu ad nos redi, cornea canis. Nihil adhuc cacas tibi ut puer sursum," he repeats. Anna joins in, closing their eyes.
The lights buzz out, the lit candle in the center flickering as a whoosh of air that wasn't caused by the odd tundra habitat courses through them. "Tu ad nos redi, cornea canis. Nihil adhuc cacas tibi ut puer sursum."
"Tu ad nos redi, cornea canis. Nihil adhuc cacas tibi ut puer sursum."
"Tu ad nos redi, cornea canis. Nihil adhuc cacas tibi ut puer sursum."
"Tu ad nos redi, cornea canis. Nihil adhuc cacas tibi ut puer sursum."
"You know, this is really entertaining. W," Rose says, biting into a peach loudly. Stephen screams and whips around, the lights coming back on immediately.
"How are you-it worked?" He gasps, clutching his chest. "Jesus, I'm old, you could have given me a heart attack."
"Oh, I've been here the entire time. You didn't have to do that, but it sure was fun!" She exclaims, hopping back up. She's still dressed in her armor from earlier. "I warned them of the consequences...they don't know what they've done."
"What have they done...?" Anna asks, looking their best friend up and down with a slight hint of fear.
Rose's eyes snap to Anna's. "Unleashed a power greater than they could ever imagine. I told them I wouldn't come back. I am not...me, yet I am still Rose. Just her most unethical parts. I still have humanity, yes. But let's just say...that's not the priority anymore."
"Rose," Anna says with a warning tone, stepping forward. "Be careful. Don't cause a war; we can't stand the effects of it, and you know that."
"Have I really started the war though?" Rose whines, tilting her head.
"You could contribute to it," Stephen says.
"Never did I think I would be getting lectured by the person with barely any morals," Rose groans, drawing a sword and angling it at Anna. "Choose your side. And choose wisely. This is my universe, not yours. I make the rules."
Anna pushes the sword down with a smirk. "Since when would I ever choose another side over yours?"
"Good," Rose says with a satisfactory smile, tucking the sword away. She steps out of the room, slowly descending the stairs. The doors of the Sanctum flick open, revealing the streets of New York outside. "I feel a little insane. Shall we go claim my throne?"
This is the end of the His Villain series.
There will not be a third official instillation.
However, this does not mean these characters are not coming back.
The Iggee Rose Literary Universe has been opened. What does this mean?
There is a new dictator who is hell-bent on getting revenge on Loki, Y/n, and Sylvie.
There will be continuous cameos.
Every single book that is published inside the IRLU now ties into a grander plot.
No two fandoms are safe. There will be crossovers.
The MCU mold is no longer necessary to be followed. There are branches of branches of branches now.
This is only the beginning, although it is the end.
Fairfarren, dear Rosies. Whose side are you choosing?
Choose wisely...
