A/n: Hello everybody! I really need to stop going to bookstores...I'm running out of money. I've gotta start babysitting again OML- like fine, fine, I love kids, but...can I just be a sugar baby? Preferably Loki's?

"I can't believe Amelia Earheart was Asgardian! I mean, come on!" Mobius exclaims, laughing loudly.

"She was a friend of mine growing up, loved to fly, and wanted to play a practical joke. So I helped her out," Y/n explains monotonously. "We spent a few weeks on an island together before the Bifrost picked us up. Besides, where was the TVA when we were bamboozling the Midgardians?"

"We were right there with you, just flying the Sacred Timeline," he says casually.

"So the Timekeepers are jokers now, huh?"

"I wouldn't think of it that way...it isn't in terms of approval or dissaproval. It's sort of a..." he pauses. "Let's get back to the escapes. What is it that you're really running from?"

"Enough," Y/n says, laughing dryly as she begins to stand up, before it feels like all the atoms in her body are dragging her back and she finds herself back in her chair.

"Back in your cage," Mobius sighs. "See, I can play the heavy keys, too."

"I was standing up to make a point," she growls.

"I'm sorry, go ahead," he chuckles.

"Well- I can't do it now!

"Ok, so stay sitting."

"I'll do whatever, idiot!"

"Ok, sweetheart."

Y/n sighs, running her hands through her hair. "What is it you want?"

"I want you to be honest about why you do what you do," Mobius explains calmly.

"Liar," she accuses.

"I'm serious! All I seek is a deeper understanding of the fearsome Harbringer of Death. What makes Y/n and Loki tick?" Mobius asks rhetorically.

Y/n sucks on her teeth, placing her hands on her hips. "I know what this place is."

"What is it?"

"It's an illusion. It's a cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear. A desperate attempt at control. Now, you all parade about as if you're the divine arbiters of power in the universe!" She explains, growing angry.

"We are."

"You're not. My choices are my own," Y/n finalizes.

"Your choices are your own! Good, let's go with that. I think this one's gonna fire you up," Mobius says, continuing the reel. They watch Y/n and Loki's speech in Germany.

"Precisely," Y/n agrees. "We were- we are on the verge of acquiring everything we are owed, and when we do, it will be because we did it. Together. Not because it was supposed to happen.  Or because you or the Time Variance Authority, or whatever it is you call yourselves, allowed us to. Honestly, you're pathetic. You're an irrelevance. A detour. A footnote to our ascent," she vents.

"You finished?" Mobius asks sarcastically. "You're gonna start taking things seriously. If you and Loki hadn't picked up the Tesseract, you would've been taken to a cell on Asgard." The reel continues, showing Loki and Y/n shackled right outside the throne room.

"You don't look bad in those. The light really catches them."

"I could say the same for you, darling."

"Remember what we did on there while he was snoozing?"

"Oh, how could I forget?"

"Loki. Y/n," Frigga says, coming into view.
