Throwing rocks sound silly but it took my mind off of the inevitable.

I never could beat Pria but hearing her laugh was nice. It feels weird to even smile or laugh because I'm not supposed to be happy.

Once we left there I told her to take me back to my car and I would stop and get us some food and meet her at home.

Home is a place I really don't want to go to and I don't want to live there and am really giving it thought to move.

It might not be a good idea with the baby coming in a few months.

I pick up the Japanese food and head toward the house. The closer I get to the house the more dread fills my body.

I pull up and still look for Angie's car but it's no longer in the driveway just the way she's no longer here with us.

I wipe my eyes and grab the food and my briefcase and walk into the house.

Pria was in the kitchen making some lemonade. It's nice to not be alone but never in my life would I have thought that Pria Harlow would help me through my wife's death.

"I stopped and got some Japanese."

"Oh, Dane that sounds delicious. Do you want some lemonade?"

"Sure I'll take some. I'm just going to go change and I'll be back."

I headed upstairs and just walking into our bedroom kills me. I can't remember when I touched Angie last and I don't want to lose her smell.

I picked up her PJs and put them to my nose and breathed her in. "God I miss you, Angie."

I changed clothes and went back downstairs to the kitchen where Pria was.

I sit down across from her as we begin to eat. "So I've been thinking of something and I need you to either talk me out of it or help me."

"What in the world Dane? It sounds serious."

"Well, it is serious Pria. I don't think I can continue to live here."

"Well, I can understand that Dane. Are you wanting to move?"

"Yeah, I'm thinking about it. I just can't deal with seeing Angie's stuff everywhere and sleeping in my bedroom is just too hard."

"I couldn't imagine. Are you wanting to do it before or after Kayden is born?" She asked.

"I was thinking before that way he won't be born and have to be moved."

"I will support you in whatever you want to do Dane."

"Do you think I'm crazy for even thinking about this?"

"No, I don't. I mean I will help you because we really need to get a nursery set up soon." She said.

"Yeah, and Angie didn't say how she wanted the room decorated." I sighed.

"We will figure it out. Let's start looking at houses after we eat." She said.

"I'm not sure I need such a big house as this but I'm sure I can find something," I said.

"You know right down the road I saw a house for sale. Maybe we can look that up." She said grabbing her laptop off the counter.

We went to the living room and sit on the couch and looked at houses. The one right down the road was cute but I would still have to drive by this house.

"I don't think that would work. I would still be driving by this one. What about near your thinking spots? Any houses?"

"Oh yeah there are lots but they are expensive but well you can afford them." She said.

"It's not late so do you want to take a drive and look at them Pria?"

"Sure I'm down just let me go pee again. Your son won't stay off of my bladder." She laughed.

I cleaned up the kitchen and when she came down we got in her car and headed toward Lake Tahoe.

We passed by a couple of houses and I didn't like the layout but the third house we passed I liked and asked her to go back to it.

We pulled in the driveway and got out and looked around. No one was living there and Pria got the number for the Realtor and called for me.

I looked through the window while Pria was on the phone and walked around back and liked that it had a big patio with a fire pit outside and a place to bbq and most of all a big pool with a fence around it.

Pria walked around back. "Hey, Dane the realtor said he could be here in ten minutes if you don't mind waiting."

"No, I can wait. I like a lot of things about this house and the pool and patio area almost has me sold." I said

"That pool does look tempting for sure and it has a fence around it." She said.

We went back around and sit on the front steps when the realtor showed up.

"Hey, guys! Thanks for waiting!" He said.

"Thanks for coming on short notice. I'm Dane and this here is Pria."

"Nice to meet you guys. Let's go in and let you look around." He said.

I let Pria walk in first and we looked around and then went upstairs and it had four bedrooms.

More rooms than I need but I want Kayden to have his own room.

"What do you think Pria?"

"I absolutely love it Dane but I mean is it in your price range?"

"Oh yeah, don't you worry about that part. Plus I'm sure our house would sell fast." I said.

After we looked in every room Pria went out back to put her feet in the pool and I talked numbers with the realtor.

"I want this house so whatever you have to do make it happen and I also need a realtor to sell my house asap."

"I can do that Mr. Cresswell. I can see you and your wife are in a hurry since you have a baby coming." He said.

I didn't have the heart to tell him my wife was gone and that's why I'm moving.
