Over the next couple of weeks, we started packing up Dane's house. He asked that Sof and I pack up Angie's stuff for him because he just couldn't.
He hired movers to move everything else out of his house and this house is already under contract with someone.
I'm not sure where my place is. I don't know if he wants me to continue to stay with him or go home and I haven't asked.
"So how is my brother?"
"Sof he has his days but I can tell he's really sad and if we laugh about something he feels guilty because he feels like he shouldn't."
"I'm glad you are here with him because he doesn't need to be alone. We all are grieving but I couldn't imagine how he feels." She said.
"Me either... He's stronger than I think I would be." I said folding up some of Angie's clothes.
"Does Vella know that you're pregnant with their child?" Sof asked.
"Not that I know of. He said he didn't want her to know and you know she didn't come to the service." I said.
I got her jewelry box off of the dresser and sit it on the bed so I could wrap it up when Dane walked into the room.
"How's it going in here?"
"It's going Dane," Sof said.
"I'm sorry I asked you guys to do this but I just cant." He said.
"It's ok I don't mind helping you. We don't have much more to pack." I said.
"Thanks, Pria." He said watching me with the jewelry box.
He walked out of the room and I watched him walk away and then I looked down at the jewelry box and when I opened the lid to push some papers in it there were pictures of her and Dane when they first married. I made sure the lid closed and I bubble wrapped it tight before putting it in the box.
I looked around the room. I think we have about everything but her pillow and I want to vacuum lock that so the smell stays.
I walked out to the landing and called for Dane.
He walked upstairs and to the door of the room. "We have it all done and packed up and I vacuumed locked her pillow to keep the smell."
"Thank you, Pria that means so much and I know you understand from when you lost your mom."
"Your son is kicking if you want to feel." I smiled at him.
He walked over and placed his hand on my stomach and I placed my hand over the top of his and moved it to where I felt the kick.
"He's going to be a football player." He laughed.
"He's killing me with those hard kicks so he probably will play some sort of ball for sure." I smiled.
Sof walked from the bathroom and saw us and had this look on her face. "What are you two doing?"
"Kayden is kicking," I said.
"Kayden? That's his name?"
"Sorry sis but Kayden Robert is what Angie wanted so we are going to go with that," Dane said.
"Oh, I love it and dad will too when he finds out that's his namesake." Sof smiled.
"Let's get this down to my truck so we can get over to the new house," Dane said.
"I can't believe you bought a house near Pria's favorite place. Have you been to it?" Sof asked.
"Yeah, I have she took me there and beat me skipping rocks." He said.
"Yeah, she's very good at that." Sof laughed.
"Thanks for talking about me like I'm not here but excuse me I have to pee." I laughed walking down to the bathroom.
Once I made it downstairs everything was packed up and they were waiting on me to lock the door.
"Sorry, guys it took a while," I said heading to my car.
"I will follow you guys over because I want to see the house," Sof said.
"Alright see you in a bit," I said getting in my car and well now my stomach is in the way to drive.
We pull up at the house and I have to admit it's beautiful.

"Damn brother you have outdone yourself," Sof said.
"It is beautiful but the backyard and pool are amazing." I smiled getting out of my car.
We walked in and I made sure that Angie's stuff got put in a closet upstairs in the master bedroom.
As I was walking out he was walking in. "Which room did you pick Pria?"
"I didn't pick a room, Dane. I know I stayed with you at the old house but I figured you would want to be alone and make new memories."
"With who myself?" He laughed.
"Well I mean I'm not going to just assume anything," I said.
"Well, Pria I want you to pick a room, and then we will decide on what to do with Kayden's room and get that done."
"Sounds good!" I smiled.
"Plus we need to go buy a lot of baby stuff. Let's plan on that this week." He said.
"Ok, whatever you want to do," I said.
Sof walked up the steps and started looking in the room. "So that's the master and maybe Kayden's room should be on the other side of him."
"Yeah, that's probably a good idea and then I can take the room beside Kayden."
"You are getting a room?" She asked.
"Dane just insisted that I pick a room." I shrugged.
"Well damn girl pick a room then. You know when the baby comes you are going to have to stay here and help him." She said.
"Yeah, I had already told him I would stay and help him even though neither of us knows anything about a baby but it should come naturally even though I'm not his mom."
"You will be the only mom that Kayden ever knows Pria."
"No he has a mom and I will make sure that Kayden knows who Angie was."
