A couple of months later Dane's parents have the kids to give us a break.
Work has been stressful and now that Dane is a partner they have taken on so many cases along with Yvette.

We finished our food and skipped a few rocks which I won and then watched the sun go down.
Dane wrapped his arm around me and pulled me in close. "Life is pretty good isn't it?"
"I would like to think so. I mean we have two beautiful children and you are a partner at work and we are thriving Dane."
"I've said it a million times but I never dreamed when Angie died that I would end up with all of this love."
"You deserve everything and more Dane. When Sof told me about your predicament of not having children I didn't even have to think about it and said I would help you."

"Well now." He laughed kissing me again.
We stayed at my spot until after dark and then headed home and went out to the back patio to have a drink together.
