I couldn't wait to get home to Pria and the kids. Every time I am in court all day with couples fighting I'm thankful I have a wife who loves me.
I walked in the door and found them out on the patio.
Sofia and Holden are getting married in a few days so things have been hectic around here lately.
"Hey, guys! How's it going?"
"Oh, Dane I'm glad you are here!" Sofia said.
"What do you need Sofia?" I laughed.
"Can you hold this ruler up for me I want to see how high I need the flowers on the curtains?" She said.
"Sure I can do that," I said walking over by the pool holding up the ruler.
"How tall are you Dane?"
"I'm 6.2."
"Well, then I didn't need the ruler you are the perfect height." She laughed.
I walked over to where Pria was and she handed me, Lauren.
I snuggled her and kissed her little face. I couldn't help but smile as she stretched.
"Mom and dad are on their way over with Kayden," Sofia said.
"I was wondering where Kayden was," I said.
"Your mom called earlier and asked if they could pick him up and go to the playground with him," Pria said.
"Oh, I'm sure he loved that." I smiled kissing Lauren's little face.
The doorbell went off and Sofia went to open the door and when she came back Kayden came running with her.
"Mommy! Daddy! I went to the park!"
"We heard! Did you have fun?" Pria asked kissing his face.
"I did! I even had a hamburger from McDonald's and got this!" He said shoving a toy in Pria's face.
"Daddy! Can I go swimming?" He asked jumping up and down.
"You can go get your floaty's and your swimming trunks and I'll help you," I said.
"Uncle Aaron is coming over with Holden and I bet they will swim with you," Sofia said.
"Oh yay!" Kayden said jumping up and down.
"Did you guys give him sugar or something?" Pria laughed.
"Maybe a red drink." Mom said.
"Oh, mom! You can take him home tonight then." I laughed.
"I told you Kay that red makes him hyper." Dad laughed.
When Aaron and Holden walked in Kayden ran over to them and asked for them to swim.
They know we keep extra swim trunks in the pool room and Kayden followed them in and came out smiling.
"You take it easy on your uncles ok?" Pria said to him.
"Ok, mommy!" He giggled.
I handed Lauren over to mom and ordered us some pizza since we all were together for the evening.
"Is everything set for the wedding?" Pria asked.
"Everything is done now. I'm so excited. Can we stay late tonight to decorate?" Sofia asked.
"Of course you can Sof and after the kids go to sleep I will be glad to help you," Pria said.
"I can help too if you want," I said.
"I appreciate you guys so much! I can't wait to get married tomorrow." She smiled.
"Since we all are together I ordered us some pizza. Hope you all are hungry."
"Starving son!" Dad laughed.
"Good I bought a bunch of pizzas because I know those two can eat one by themselves." Pointing to the pool.
The doorbell went off and I went and grabbed the pizzas and brought them out to the patio. I went back inside to get drinks when Pria walked in with Kaydens sippy cup.
"Are they out of the pool?"
"Yeah they are and I figured I would get Kayden something to drink." She smiled.
I leaned in and kissed her lips. "You have Lauren's sippy cup." I laughed.
She smacked my arm. "Dane!" She giggled.
"I'm going to grab a few beers if you will grab a couple of drinks for you ladies," I said.
"I can do that but I need another kiss." She smiled.
I leaned in and kissed her lips and brushed my tongue across her bottom lip.
"Down boy." She whispered walking out of the room.
I watched her walk out of the room and smiled grabbing the beer. I walked out and handed Dad, Aaron, and Holden a beer.
"Nothing goes with a pizza besides beer," Aaron said.
"Can I have some?" Kayden asked.
"No it's not for kids Kayden," Aaron said.
"When I'm a big boy I can drink it?" He asked.
"You won't like it because it tastes like pee," Pria said to him.
"Ewwww!" He said giggling.
After we eat and my parents left with Aaron we cleaned up and I helped Pria get the kids bathed and ready for bed and then I went back downstairs to help Sofia and Holden decorate.
"Why don't you guys just stay the night? Unless you are suspicious about seeing each other before the wedding." I said.
"No we aren't superstitious and we appreciate it. We plan to stay up half the night finishing thing up so but you go onto the bed and enjoy your evening with Pria." Sofia smiled.
"You always have been my favorite sister." I laughed.
"Of course I have since I'm your only sister Dane." She laughs.
"Well, then I'm going upstairs to find my wife. Nite you guys! Eat, drink whatever you need you to know we don't care, and the spare room off from the living room is all yours."
"Thanks, Dane! Goodnight!" She smiled.
Holden smiled taking a sip of his beer. I cut the living room lights off and locked the front door and headed upstairs looking for Pria.
I walked into the bedroom and she walked out with a towel wrapped around her and one on her head.
"Did they go to bed?"
"No they are going to decorate the rest of the night and I offered them a room to sleep in for the night."
"That was nice Dane. They didn't need our help?"
"No Sofia told me to come up here and find you and that was an offer I couldn't refuse," I said pulling her into my arms for a kiss.
