Ashton and Calum

"Holy shit," Ashton pants, his large hands gripping the steering wheel as he takes in the imagines before him and then turns to Calum.

"Oh my god," Calum exclaims as he turns to Ashton and they stare at each other.

They both jump into action at the same time, throwing their doors open and hopping out before rushing to the women with their hands out.

"Oh my god, I'm so fucking sorry," Ashton stammers, feeling sick as he becomes aware of the lives inches from their death at his hands.

"Are you okay?" Calum asks at the same time.

"I didn't think anyone was out here," Ashton looks around astounded, becoming so nauseated his stomach twists.

"Are you a'right?" Calum asks again.

"Yeah, we're okay," the girl closest to Calum answers in a thick British accent, tucking her black hair behind her ear.

"Yep," the redhead next to her concurs in a matching accent, locking her deep jade eyes onto Ashton's.

Relief and something he's never felt before washes over his body, like he was just lifted out of his own body and he stands there suspended, mesmerized by her eyes before his stomach lurches, "Fuck."

He runs over to the side of the road and coughs before his stomach empties into the dirt, his adrenaline finally waning. He spits several times before he feels a cold hand on his neck, startling him and he falls to his ass. He looks up to find the redhead, a small closed mouth smile on her small heart shaped lips as she squats down next to him.

"Are you okay?" she asks kindly, her emerald eyes roaming his face before they travel lower to his exposed neck.

"I could have killed you," he breathes, guilt making him feel sick again.

"Nah," she smirks before she stands and holds out a hand.

Ashton takes a deep breath and grabs her hand, feeling lighted before she yanks him up, causing him to stumble slightly. Her small hands reach out to his chest, steadily him as he looks down at her, just a short thing compared to him, and the moon glows in her eyes as she looks up at him. Ashton stares hard, his draining adrenaline making his head fuzzy and he swears the color around her pupils is gold in the moonlight.

"Are you okay now?" She asks quietly, before she slides her cool hands down his body and retracts them.

"Yeah," Ashton confirms almost inaudibly.

"I'm Claire," she says as Ashton takes in her face, her skin literally glowing in the moonlight its so pale and the angles of her high cheekbones and jaw appear almost like porcelain in texture.

"Ashton," he smirks when he notices her bright eyes linger at his lips before they snap back to his eyes.

"Nice to meet you, even considering," she chuckles softly from behind her lashes before she steps away to turn to her companion and Calum.

He follows her gaze, finding Calum sitting on the hood of his car while he laughs with the other girl, noticing she is slightly taller but still small and thin. They walk back to them at the car, forming a small group and Calum looks at Ashton, realizing he forgot about him.

"You a'right, Mate?" Calum asks, standing up to access him.

"Yeah, I'm good, Man," Ashton waves him off.

"Just a bit of adrenaline," Claire smiles at him, making him feel really warm.

"Just a 'bit'," Claire's friend giggles before Claire shoves her with her shoulder and she giggles harder, making Calum laugh with her.
